Pros: The pizza was good…read more Cons: service and wait time. We ordered our pizza at 5:52. They told us 40 min. We got there in 45 min. It wasn't ready. I was told 'seven minutes' and then after 15 more minutes, I asked if they were making our pizzas now. (Because I could see them looking chaotic and making our pizzas based on the toppings). Only then was I told, "yes. Something happened. They were made but they think someone took them. They were making them right away and they would be just a few more minutes." The pizzas were ready at 7:16. In that time, only one server asked me if I would like a drink while I waited. Once they were finished, they were each opened for me by the cook to make sure that they all looked good. I appreciated that. No communication and we paid full price and I left a cash tip. I've been here before and service is always lacking a bit and unorganized but this visit was crazy.

The onion rings came with a southwest sauce that just blew everyone away. It was horseradishy with a great kick and just was a great dip for any of the sides. Everything is reasonably priced and the portions were a great size. The restaurant itself was very cute and comfortable. They had a lot of local sports team memorabilia on the walls and so we got to learn a little about the community through that! All of the other customers seemed equally happy to be there. The waitress was an absolute sweetheart, just very kind and personable. It was very clear to us that the owners and the employees want to make sure the customers have the best experience there and it just made it really pleasant. Nobody was in the mood for pizza in our group, but it looked really good and I am very interested in trying it the next time we're in the area. We will absolutely be going back to Mama Renie's when we can and truly look forward to it!
