Nice municipal course after weeks of rain - so not entirely mucky. Glad to golf in any case on a sunny Sunday afternoon. Many walkers here and dog friendly. Good enough but why does management keep course restrooms locked up on weekends? There are signs posted that restrooms are closed for the winter. Carts $18.00. Cokes to go at the bar dont get filled to the top and are in medium sized plastic cups $2.50 each.

These are some of the oldest dirtiest worn out range balls for $12 ever.

Range balls get zero stars. Come on, for $12 can you st least wash them once in awhile?

Classic 9 hole course that has been in Eugene for decades, lots of fun for beginners and experienced players alike. Never to busy for a game with a few and carts if needed!

    At the driving range!

There are some long, really long holes at this one! Usually a pretty busy course and the neat thing is the fact that its really not far from downtown Eugene. The new management company really seems to be trying hard at making a go of this place. Poorly marked but a beautiful course, the prices are reasonable as are the carts.

Hole 8. Par 3 119 to brand new green!

Unless you're lucky enough to get onto Eugene Country Club, the golf at Emerald Valley is the best…read moreyou'll find within 15 minutes of Eugene. The course is in pretty good shape, the greens roll true, and you're out in a peaceful setting. Lots of trees here--be prepared to have to punch out of trouble; you might even find yourself needing to hit a punch shot after finding the fairway, as some holes have trees growing over the edge of the fairway. Trees aside, there are a couple of water hazards and a fair amount of bunkers that can hurt your score if you aren't careful. Overall, I think this is a pretty solid course. What some of the other reviews have mentioned about the staff seem to be true. While the first employee I met, a college student at UO, was friendly, the person working the front desk seemed stand-off-ish and didn't seem thrilled that I was playing that day. I think the customer service could use some work.

Very bad service and extremely unprofessional staff…read more My son and his friends went golfing using Youth on Course to help with the ridiculous price of a round. They called ahead to ask if they could reserve a tee time, and the employee told them they could just come in and they would find an opening. To avoid the risk of showing up and not being able to play, my son went ahead and booked a tee time. When they arrived, they checked in at the front desk, where a young employee told them that next time they could just come in. Then an older employee, who I assume was the manager, came over and accused them of trying to cheat the system. They weren't trying to cheat anything--they literally did exactly what they were told to do. They were ultimately charged the normal rate , but apparently that wasn't enough. While they were teeing off, the same older employee drove up in his golf cart and started calling them "bitches" and "punks" and accusing them of trying to pull a fast one. Completely unacceptable behavior from someone representing a golf course. If this is how you treat young golfers who are simply trying to use a legitimate youth program, maybe the problem isn't the kids. Maybe it's the staff. They were also told not to come back. After being treated like that, I don't think they'll have any trouble following that instruction. Extremely unprofessional and embarrassing customer service. If the course doesn't want to participate in Youth on Course, perhaps they should reconsider the program--or reconsider who they have dealing with customers.
