Daniela and Emma captured the emotions of intimate moments beautifully, but they were completely non-intrusive and I don't remember cameras being around at all. I really loved having them around at our wedding, they were a really calming presence throughout all the chaos! I really can't recommend them enough. Emma took our engagement photos. I wanted to have our engagement shoot at the ICA. However, when we arrived, we found that there was construction going on in every direction. However, from looking at our photos you would have never guessed it! We started taking photos right around sunset, and they turned out absolutely stunning. We even used a large print of one photo as the background of our seating chart. The day of the wedding had many chaotic moments, but Daniela was a wonderful calming presence. After our honeymoon, Daniela dropped by with our wedding photos. Every bride complains about the whirlwind day of the wedding and not being able to remember everything. Looking through our photos was like reliving our wedding day without the stress, and I instantly teared up. Daniela and Emma had managed to capture everything, from the raw emotions down to the details of our centerpieces. There were even dramatic shots of our friends breakdancing and chest-bumping in midair on the dance floor! My husband and I are so happy that we got to know Daniela and Emma. Fast forward to almost a year later and we still are so unhappy with our entire collection of wedding photos that we still have not been able to pick any we love to give to our families. We felt rushed throughout the entire wedding and as a bride I did not need the added stress. There were so many photos he took on the beach and like 89% of those was everyone squinting and sweating. He did not touch up or clean up any and we both felt like we looked awful. So many candid photos of the reception too that did not flatter my guests or everyone seemed awkward. I just would have expected more from this photographer. It bothers us that the photos he and his wife took highlighted unflattering facial expressions or body angles. I wish he would have spent more time making sure I was looking happier or smiling or at least not looking stiff and awkward in our poses. It is not easy to be photogenic and it is their job to ensure the pictures come out amazing. You can't take the time back and I am so regretful we didn't research this better or go with someone else who was more professional in their photo shoots. Now we are just left with a bunch of photos that every time we look at ourselves we are so unhappy.

I wasn't sure which I was supposed to book first, the ceremony or the reception, how much time to leave in between, what photos were to be taken, the list goes on - I went in completely blind. What I DID know was the photographs for the big day were my top priority. When I selected my photographer, I did several phone, skype, and FaceTime interviews as I was an out-of-town bride, living in Chicago and getting married in my home state of NJ. Seperate from the obvious - Tav's photos being the most impressive and dynamic/captivating, he was also, far and away, the best communicator which I SO appreciated as a neurotic, detail-oriented person. He was clear and up-front about the time frame I should give myself before, during, and after both the ceremony and reception. He had several extremely reasonable packages to choose from, allowing me to subtract something due to my out-of-town circumstances. He e-mailed me far in advance to get the names/lists of the VIPs that would be photographed that day (outside of my groom and I of course). Both he and his second shooter (who took shots of my groom and his groomsmen beforehand) were on time, professional, and respectful to all members of the family and friend circle. And most importantly, my wedding photos are brilliant. My album and all of the digital copies I have of MY photos are irreplaceable. I honestly can't believe I'm the first person to review Tav and his work on here but I certainly won't be the last. You WILL NOT be disappointed, start to finish, with Tav Images. Thanks Tav!

Coco shot a beautiful engagement session for us at our home and made it extremely comfortable. Because, let's face it--it's weird staring lovingly into each others eyes over and over and over again. The engagement photos are beautimous and make us look like the handsome male models that we are in real life. Scouts' Honor. Coco and her second shooter, Vince, were equally amazeballs at our wedding. They captured everything--how pretty we are when we cry, how pretty we are when we dance, how pretty we are welcoming guests, how pretty we are wearing tiny shorty shorts. The candidness of Coco's photos is breathtaking. Each time we review them, somebody cries and a fairy gets its wings. We first found out about her through another person that saw her work displayed and recommend us to check her out. We looked at her website and fell in love with all the moments she captured for others, that we wanted the same for us. Krista was great to work with and definitely knew what we wanted captured after meeting her and just talking about how my husband and I met and things we like to do, etc. We felt we were in good hands. She offered a great package for what we were looking for our wedding. Our engagement photos were a great way to see how she works, getting a feel for the camera, and how great she takes pictures. She definitely has an eye for it. We got a lot of comments from both of our families, friends of ours, including friends of our parents about how they loved our photos. So it's definitely not just my husband and I that liked how they turned out! Even after we got married, I still hear family and friends mention how they liked the pictures from our wedding. Now that is a testament of how memorable her photos are. Everybody has different tastes and styles and budgets, but I'd say definitely check Krista out. It doesn't hurt. :)
