You know the drill: endless scrolling, review stalking, and questioning if you'll come out looking like a baddie or a Muppet. After weeks of searching, I booked an appointment at Lash N Dash and was paired with Daisy. Did I choose her? No. Was I mad about it? Also no--because everyone there looked like they had lash superpowers. Let me tell you--Daisy is a gem. She's sweet, professional, and makes you feel like you've known her since middle school. I walked in and immediately thought, "OK, this place is cute!" Yes, the lash tables are in a row, but I've rarely overlapped with other clients, so it always felt chill and not like a lash assembly line. The real magic? My lashes were always snatched to perfection. Full, fluffy, fabulous--and my natural lashes stayed healthy the whole time. After a year, I tried a closer spot (gas is expensive, OK?), but it just wasn't the same. I ended up crawling back to Daisy with foreign lashes, and guess what? She worked her wizardry and made them look GORGEOUS again. It was like a lash homecoming. Now I'm back for good. What I'm definitely more particular about too is my eye shape. As an Asian monolid girlie, I always found it hard to find lash techs who can mold their style to my eye shape. It's always either too dramatic or too natural and not worth it. I went into a rabbit hole of lash tech searching on Instagram and then when I stumbled onto Hellen's page, it was an instant connection! I know that sounds bizarre or dramatic, but I'm a firm believer that every girl has a lash tech/hairdresser/mail tech etc. that is best suited for them and I found my person. I loved her aesthetic and her work! When I looked into her work, I was so impressed. It was so clean, full, and she had such a variety of different styles for all eye shapes - I truly have never had a bad set from her, and they've all lasted so long. Before Hellen, none of other lash techs ever told me how to maintain healthy lashes and they were all always so abrasive and harsh with my lashes. I was never able to fully relax while getting them done because my eyes would be burning or because I just wouldn't feel comfortable. But in my years going to Hellen, I literally never have my eyes burn - EVER, and she makes you feel taken care of. She sometimes makes her own lash cleansers and they're AMAZING as well!! I thought burning eyes were always normal because other lash techs said my eyes were probably just sensitive to the glue, but Hellen told me that that isn't correct. She's very transparent and she truly does care so much for her clients. I love her so much lol I can probably talk about how amazing she is both as a lash tech and as a person for hours! I commute from Corona to OC just to get serviced by her every 2-3 weeks for my lashes for the past 4 years. She also has other services like brow shaping, brow laminating, and lash lifts - all of which I've done with her before and I absolutely LOVE those results too. Please please please trust her with your services as I do :) she's worth every drive and penny. I don't open up very easily to people, but Hellen has become more than just a lash tech. I've mentioned the level of care that Kim takes each time she does my lashes. I am not a family member or friend who is writing this. I am a genuine customer who has been through several lash technicians and have finally found the one! She uses sensitive glue for those who have sensitive eyes. She listens to your needs and makes you walk out looking just the way you want. She is experienced in working with different types of lashes. I called Vivian and she immediately booked me for the next day at her earliest convenience. Upon arrival, I have no prior knowledge of lashes but luckily Vivian guided me through the process. She made me feel very comfortable and created a relaxing atmosphere. The process took about an hour and a half. She was very cordial and we had a great conversation :) plus she had great music playing in the background. She was gentle, caring, and fast! The results were AMAZING! I was so impressed with her work. She made my lashes look very natural and full. I have already referred all my ABG friends to her because I 100% believe in her work.
