Below is complaint sent to the Better Business Bureau on December 16, 2024. Stanley Steemer ignored the BBB's attempts to contact them. However I learned they are NOT accredited with the BBB. That is who they are. On December 4, 2024, they came out to my house, were there a bit over 2 hours and charged me $2,200.00. To say the job was not well done is a gross understatement. My house is 1,200 sq ft. I have seven air vents. The air vents were to be cleaned and that was not done. I had to get them to come back as they were leaving to do the primary vent. All they did was hose it down. Clean to me means you take down the vents and wash and dry them before putting them back on. This was not done, not even close. I still have the lingering scent of the dog previous owner had. I was charged $899 for this cleaning service. Which leads me to say one size does not fit all. $899 plus tax for nothing. It's time Stanley Steemer to reevaluate/change pricing. Base pricing on the square footage of the dwelling. They also did the floors and grout. Because I was getting my furniture delivered on Dec 5 I got down on my hands and knees to tape down brown construction paper to protect the floor. While doing this I found dust and other left over vent debris on the floors. Being a conscientious consumer, I tipped the guys who came out. This was before I found what I just described. I expect a 75% refund from that service. Furthermore, since Dec 5 I have been trying to get a callback from the manager. I have called 5 times to date. I do not even know his/her name and contact info, so I have to keep calling. I do not even know if my message was received. I paid over $2,200.00 for this service. The actual cleaning was not done. I will not ever recommend using Stanley Steemer to anyone. Also, I tried attaching a picture but was unable to do so. And of course there is no email address to contact anyone at corporate. I do expect a call from a decision maker. Because of the inadequate service I received I canceled the follow-up service I had to clean my furniture. Regards, Michelle S

I also noticed they were very careful getting their equipment in and out around my doors, tables, etc. Michael had given me an approximate estimate on the phone and I was very pleased that the total amount billed was around that amount. I like to do business with smaller, local companies and HydraTech met all of my needs. He did a walkthrough inspection of all the areas I needed to get steam cleaned. Then he vacuumed and cleaned all the areas. When he was done, he even did another walk through to make sure I was totally satisfied. Give him a call, he can tackle all types of jobs and has the right equipment to get it done right.

We called the office, played phone tag for over a week for someone to Come back to the home. The Zack guy & partner comes back to the home. Zack creates a larger problem. He turns the carpet Black. He commences to explain this failure be blames the padding under the carpet. And that he couldn't do anything about it and was going to leave the white carpet now black !! Keep in mind. We do shampoo our carpets at lease 3 times a year. Before peaches & clean left the property, I had to call On the Spot carpet cleaning. They came out , cleaned the entire carpets again. They got all the spots out & even the black stains created by peaches & clean. Wouldn't use this company again to shampoo a rug. We even went a step further to talk to a manager. Let him know what has transpired. He offered a full refund by mail the following week then never sent the refund. Completely unhappy with this company.
