A…read moreneighbor advised that this company had painted the entire inside of her home and he did a great job. So we decided to contact the owner, Bill, a shot. Well we couldn't be happier with that decision. Bill came and gave us an estimate and hit the exact number I expected. His price was very fair. We arranged a date for the job. Bill showed up right on time and went right to work. Our job involved two different colors and walls in part were about 10 feet high. Bill did what is called cutting in which involves using a brush next to areas of a different color that we didn't want paint on. Cutting in takes an amazingly steady hand and Bill's painting talent became instantly apparent. Bill's cutting work was superb! He then went about applying the first of two coats of paint on each of the 4 walls. When it became time to apply the second coat Bill amazed me! He the cutting in technique on the entire room AGAIN! Most painters would not have taken the time to do that most time consuming process again. However Bill did it and the overall painting job was a masterpiece of work. I give my absolute highest rating to Bill for his work and work ethic. Keep in mind that Bill is not just a painter. He is a general contractor and would be willing to take on any job you might have. He has built over 300 homes and there is nothing he can't do. Do yourself a favor and contact Bill for any job you have in mind. You will not be disappointed!!!

I wish I never met Cecil the weasel! This pathetic excuse for a business owner told me a different…read morelie every time we spoke! I had to baby sit the entire project, even demand the stop at certain time because of mistakes and corners cut. I had to force them to reschedule pouring the concrete slab because there was frost and frozen dirt. They rented a portable radiant heat system to warm up the ground and it sunk 2-3 feet in the corners! Can you image what that would have done to my concrete radiant slab? I was told they do this on jobs all the time...Great! We caught them trying to charge us for the diesel used for the portable heater. I am NOT paying for your mistakes. My wife also caught them trying to charge us for 4 toilets, we have 2 bathrooms. We had to go through the bills with a fine tooth comb, they had tons of items from other projects on our bill. The project finished 6 months after we were told it would be finished. Since completion, I have had to hire other companies to fix everything that is going wrong. Gas stove incorrectly installed and set off carbon monoxide detectors on our first night in the house. I had to have an exterior door completely reinstalled because they left gaps in the wall and covered it with trim. Less than 6 months in and the dry wall seams are starting to show. The list goes on and on and I don't have enough room to list it all. I was told by most of the workers that they were not getting paid for work they had done months ago. I am not sure how they are still in business. Saratoga would be a better place with Cecil the weasel behind bars! Complete crook with no concern for his clients. Once her gets his checks from the bank you will NEVER see him on site again...

I appreciate the attention to detail, expert tile work, and the long hours. I appreciate the easy communication with the renovation team, and how they were respectful of my home. They were particularly kind to my momma, who was there during all of the work. The work did take longer than expected; but I was told I'd be happy with the finished project. I am!

We had our modular home built by Westchester Modular and then Saratoga Modular Homes, LLC, finished…read morethe home after it was delivered and set on the foundation. Saratoga Modular acted as our general contractor. We lived on Long Island while the home was being built and was commuting back and forth about every week or two. The home was finished in May of 2014. From Day 1 our master shower leaked into the basement. We brought it to Cecil Provost's attention multiple times over the course of 7 years. Cecil is the owner of Saratoga Modular Homes, LLC. He kept saying it was "bad" grout. He wanted to seal it with caulking. Not on my brand-new tile shower! Seven years later Cecil had his worker rip out the complete shower and re-build it. THE PAN WAS NOT INSTALLED PROPERLY! Westchester Modular was responsible for the subflooring in the entire home. The wood floors on the first floor began to squeak after about 4-5 years. Westchester Modular was called in to make repairs. They came and added 2 columns and sistered some of the beams in the area of the squeaking. It did not solve the problem, and the squeaking has spread to the whole first floor. As I am writing this, we have a company in our basement sistering the beams to hopefully correct some of the squeaking. This is a major expense as well as a major inconvenience. All of the insulation has to be taken down as well as the in-floor heating elements and re-installed after the work is done. Our outdoor lighting fixtures by our garage were hung on the siding, not into the house itself. They were actually drooping. Good thing my husband was able to redo several of their mistakes. We have had to hire outside companies for the jobs my husband could not tackle. These are just 3 of the major headaches we have had to deal with. Cecil has reached out to me and promised that he is more than willing to work with us on any issues we still have. I am also willing to work with him as well. Don't get me wrong...we love our home and always get complimented on our house on the hill. All our problems are in the past and we are happy to be living in the North Country.

Ian the owner is personable but he gave me verbal quotes for a chimney…read morerepair job and when the time came to schedule the work he doubled the cost of the job from a "little over a $1000" to $2100. The final quote was sent via text and asking whether I agreed. When I called and vigorously complained he verbally ""pulled" the offer and hung up. IMHO this experience was an example of incompetence or a sham.
