I had permanent makeup done on my eyebrows a few years back in another state. After a few years the color had faded and I was left with a reddish color on my brows; not what anyone wants!!! I went to 2 other permanent makeup artists to have correction done and no one could help me; though they said they could. I paid both these people and after a few months the red color came back. I was totally disgusted with the situation. I had to fill my brows in everyday and it was time consuming and they didn't look "real". When I relocated to MA and googled PERMANENT MAKEUP. I read some good reviews for Laurie. so I called her and explained my situation and she asked me to send her a picture of my brows to see if she thought she could help me. I cannot say enough great things about Laurie. I've seen her now a few times. My first appointment I had no idea what I wanted- I've never had eyelash extensions done and was going away for a vacation. I told Laurie I wanted something that looked "more than mascara but not too much." Even with that vague description she nailed the look I wanted and l have been so happy with my lashes ever since. That vacation I was sweating, swimming, and traveling a lot and the whole time the lashes held up great. Since then she has continued to maintain the look. Her response time is excellent when it comes to booking appointments, and her office is in a plastic surgeon's office- the whole experience is very clean and professional. But more than that I truly enjoy Laurie as a person. She is so much fun to talk to while I'm having my lashes done, she makes me laugh, and the sessions go by quickly. She also works quicker than the traditional technician and I'm rarely there for over an hour, even when I got my full set on (other places can take up to 2hrs). I go to Laurie for Extreme Lashes and she is The BEST!!! I live in CT and work in Boston. Laurie goes above and beyond to accomodate my crazed schedule. She makes the time for me no matter what. I can't even count the number of strangers who have complimented me on my lashes. When I tell them that they come from Laurie, they are shocked that they are not real; that's how good a job Laurie does. I've talked to lots of people who have had lashes done at other places and hated them because they looked so bad. Laurie makes sure that she understands the look you want. If you want a natural look thats what you get. No cookie cutter, Kim Kardashian over made up look (unless that's what you want). And if it takes time to figure out what look you want, Laurie works with you and adjusts the length and thickness of the lashes until she gets it perfect. She takes pride in her work and most of all she truly wants you to be happy. For a full application it takes a good two hours (much less when you return every few weeks for a fill) but because Laurie is such a terrific person the time flies by. I cannot not say enough about Laurie's work!!! I was a bit apprehensive at first as I had hear some lash extension stories that were not so good but, I could not be HAPPIER!! Laurie is WONDERFUL!!! Laurie did my lashes for my destination wedding in Aruba and I LOVED them. The best word to describe her work... PERFECT. Everyone told me how beautiful I looked and asked what type of mascara I use... They looked so natural, I couldn't feel them at all, and they endured salt water for two weeks! Several of my friends and family got lash extensions for my wedding and everyone was envious of how natural, full, and simply amazing my eye lashes looked. I have nothing but praise for Laurie's work. She is an artist. She took her art seriously and spent a lot of time making sure that I was happy. My extensions stayed on for a very long time as she uses high end material. The extensions look real and not over done. She spent time making sure I understood how to take care of them. Laurie is truly amazing at what she does!! I had been looking for a place to get my lashes done for a long time, but was weary of many of them either because they either didn't look super clean or the lashes were absurdly priced. I never leave reviews but I really appreciate Laurie she is amazing. I only go to her for my lashes, and she really is the best. You will feel beautiful every time you leave her office. Laurie is amazing at applying lash extensions. She is so sweet, professional, and truly an artist. I am very happy with the way my lashes came out.
