She has helped me and my wife with marriage counseling, business counseling, gotten me through the hardest times of my adult life and probably saved my life getting me through addiction issues with prescription meds after a spinal surgery. She has been patient, kind and hard as nails when it was needed. Dr Zamick's office in old town is very relaxing, smells nice and is very clean. She deals with most major counseling issues and has worked with my weird hours for my business. My wife Cherish and I both see her together and seperately and we advise our friends to come see her as well. I didn't know what to expect when I was looking for a Pisces, female, empathic, Jewish Psychologist (yeah I know I'm picky) but I got a great counselor!! 5 Stars!!

If you love dogs, Denise brings her dog to every appointment. Denise's dog is well behaved and his calming nature helps me a ton. Therapy dogs are no joke! They do help people a ton. Their new location provides a ton of free street and neighborhood parking. If you don't have a car, they're right next to a bus stop on Armitage, so convenience is still there. This practice really cares about their clients on all levels (ex. mental, financial, emotional, and etc), so don't be afraid to try this practice. Plus, they have been really flexible with scheduling, which is a characteristic that other practices don't have (Trust me, I've checked).

My experience working with Amanda Ferrari was overwhelmingly negative. After several months of therapy, I left feeling significantly worse than when I started. The experience had such a profound negative impact on my mental health, that after ending therapy with Amanda, I sought care from another therapist to help me process and recover from what I experienced during "treatment". I try to exercise care when writing reviews such as this one, but this is the type of therapist that you should avoid at all cost. She has, what I believe to be, a deeply rooted bias against men.

I have NOT gotten a single bill - even after asking for them. I have asked that they stop charging my card without sending me a bill, and that has not been honored!
