Damaged our truck interior right before we planned on selling it. If you don't want to be paying for their mistakes, and don't want your vehicle damaged, don't come here. They left the heat on maximum to dry out the interior, and didn't pay attention to the instrument gauge plastics which developed a bunch of tiny cracks. This car is 10 years old and the instrument panel was in perfect shape. We asked to have our money back and they didn't even give us a discount! read more

DON'T BUY THEIR GROUPON! They do not answer their phones or respond to email. They did not respond for 4 weeks even after Groupon investigated them. Brought both of my cars there in the past, and was told that I'm now a member and next time I come I will get a special price. I couldn't make it last year, and this year after tons of emails trying to make an appointment I finally made one. Upon arriving I was told that I should be there twice a year to be considered a "member" (suppose, but I didn't know, and someone who wants to keep his client coming back, would still give me a promised price and next time if I suddenly disappear only than to be "punished") Anyways, I left my car to be cleaned but with no shampoo, being told it will be ready by 5pm 4:40pm I receive a message that since they first clean those cars that require shampooing, mine will be ready 8pm (he mentioned that "priority" in the morning, but nothing about the time, so clearly there is an overbooking too, since I dropped my car at 10:30am)! I went there and took it back, definitely not coming back to that weird place. read more

I obviously haven't been back since I wrote about my awful experience with them 1 year ago but "Robert J" below (the person who wrote the sole positive "review" that really spends most of its time attacking negative reviews - most of whom are unfortunately somehow buried here) has sent me three thuggish, threatening, and vulgar private messages before I finally had to block him. Leaving the profanity aside, he says that he is going to "find me," "make an example" of me, and will "show" me "what respect is." Egads. Is there a Yelp reviewer protection program? Assuming that the only person who would write a shill review and send threatening messages to someone who wrote a negative review is someone linked to the business, it gives further evidence of what kind of establishment this place is. Amazing thing is that he even signed the message with the same names that he also responds to Google reviews ("response from the owner") so it's clearly the people who run the place. Stay away from this place! It is run by a bunch of crooks! My experience started with a Groupon that I wish I could give back. It took over a week to finally get in touch with these people and book an appointment. After dealing with rude employees on the phone I was already dreading the appointment, but considering it was paid for brought my car to have it cleaned anyway. Due to their poor organization sklls, upon arrival I was informed that I did not have an appointment scheduled, and was told to come back the following day, which was extremely frustrating. The following day when I returned they had the nerve to try and upsell me. Needless to say I declined, at which point they became increasingly rude. A two hour job took over four hours to complete, at which point I asked to speak with the owner. He was just as rude as the rest of the employees, and didn't offer as much as an apology for the terrible customer service. When I got the car back I wasn't close to satisfied with the cleaning, as salt stains on the carpets and smudges on the windows remained. Needless to say I caution everyone to stay away from this place, as there is not one positive thing I can say about the services performed or the people who run the place. read more

WARNING: For windshield replacement: Avoid - Avoid - Avoid! I cannot speak for the carwash side of things, but clearly that place is not a windshield expert. After purchasing a Groupon to get our windshield replaced at Lave-Auto Royale, we brought the car in to get the job done, only to have it returned to us without proper re-installation of the interior mouldings around the windshield and many black markings on the plastic, inside the car. We brought the car back upon being argued upon on the phone that "it was impossible" and they fixed this and cleaned the marks. 2 weeks after the installation, first downpour: the windshield leaks. Called, emailed, left messages, and never heard back from them. Showed up at their shop in April to have the problem resolved, owner tells me to get an appointment and that he never got emails/calls (which I all have proof of). Follows an argument, trying to get an appoitnment, owner tells me to leave his property because I am "not friendly" with my approach to him. DO NOT GO THERE: NOT WORTH THE HEADACHES... almost 5 months since the replacement and the windshield is still leaking and have to cover our own legal advice and more. read more

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Bought a car wash package on Living Social and I have had a terrible terrible experience with them. Took a month to finally make an appointment. SHowed up today to find out they were closed after I spoke on the phone with them last week and made an appointment for today. The coupon I bought expires on Friday (I told them that) and now I just wasted over 40 dollars for nothing. read more

Unfortunately, I did not read any reviews before buying my groupon for Lave Auto Royale. Dumb me!!! In any case, the groupon was for full detailing (comprehensive cleaning inside and out). When I called to make the appt, I asked how much extra it would cost to have my car's seats also shampooed. I was told $39.95 (extra - on top of the amount I paid for the groupon). So, I went ahead and booked. I was told they needed my car for 5 hours. When asked why so long, I was told, it depends on how busy they are and whether all the employees are available. So, I dropped off my car just before they opened at 10:30am. By 3:30, I was expecting a call at any minute. By 5:00, I still hadn't heard from them so I called them. I was told that because my car had dog hair in it, it needed an extra procedure called "extraction" and that it would take another 1/2 our and they would call me. By 6:45, I still hadn't heard from them so I called again. Once again, I was told my car still wasn't ready. When I questioned them about the length of time they had already had my car (8++ hrs), I was told that I could come and pick up the car - it would be ready. I arrived at 7:15 and someone was hosing down my car (in the rain). I looked in the car and it was MUCH better than it had been, and although they had obviously wiped down the seats with something, they had definitely not been shampooed. I told the owner that I was not happy with the result, and that other two places I had been in the past resulted in FANTASTIC outcomes, and this was not even close. I was not charged the extra $39.95 (so in essence was only charged the initial $42 groupon coupon fee). Aside from the fact that they had my car for 9 hrs (4 hrs longer than they said) AND they never bothered to call me to advise me that it would take longer, AND that they didn't shampoo like they were suppose to - the actual cleaning of the interior of the car was decent enough....until I got home. I had a more thorough look inside and they didn't even touch the back hatch back area (my car is a 5 door hatchback, so behind the rear seat there is an open truck space). It was a dirty as is had been when I dropped it off, they hadn't even vacuumed it, let alone washed it!!! And then, this morning, when I when to see how well the exterior cleaning was (since it was raining last night, the outside of the car looked clean enough), the car was filthy. They hadn't washed the exterior whatsoever!; not even the side view mirrors, let alone the doors, and rest of the body. UNBELIEVABLE!!!!! read more
