I received a gift certificate from a friend and was really looking forward to a relaxing facial, but this was honestly one of the worst spa experiences I've ever had. The facial felt like sandpaper scraping my face, and I left with my skin feeling irritated instead of refreshed. The whole spa had an unpleasant smell, like overpowering patchouli oil that gave me a headache. Laural who did my facial was not friendly at all and seemed like she didn't even want to be there. There was zero warmth or professionalism. For a place that's supposed to make you feel pampered, I felt completely uncomfortable from start to finish. I definitely would not recommend this spa to anyone. read more

(This is a delayed review of my session with Laurel back in August 2020) On vacation in Clearlake, wanting a massage. I located Laurel's website and saw she also offered a Reiki and Crystal Healing special. I had never had such a treatment, and she did not recommend doubling up so I opted for the Reiki session. It was relaxing, peaceful and informative. She has really nurturing energy, and afterward she explained what she did with the crystals, and the impressions she had for me going forward in understanding where and how my energy was (and wasn't) flowing. Looking forward to another session, and also booking a massage. She implements the Covid safety protocols in a way that it doesn't feel abrupt or out of place with the intimate setting of a healing session. A great little boutique with plenty of crystals and gift ideas! Laurel also has an infrared sauna and foot detox and does massage and other specialty services- plus there's a yoga space where she often hosts community events- even for kiddos! My 4 year old son loves going there for the little activities she offers the community a few times per year, and many of my clients have greatly benefited from a wonderful card deck I got there with different ideas and exercises for working with the vagus nerve. Laurel gives an excellent service with Radio Frequency Anti-aging Treatment and the Body Sculpting. I can see a big difference with my skin texture and the tightening and plumping of my facial skin. Today was my first massage with Laurel and I am beyond happy with my experience! She is very kind and helpful and went out of her way to make sure that I was as comfortable as possible. I have a large chest and usually when I lay on my stomach for a massage I'm smushed and it's not that comfortable, but Laurel brought in a soft bumper thing that propped me up in the perfect way and I instantly felt comfy and relaxed. My massage was very thorough and I now feel like I'm able to stand up straighter and nothing hurts!
