First impression: 10:30am class for beginners with Nancy was so calming & relaxing. It just so happens that they were having a few free classes this weekend so i really lucked out. This particular class had alittle over 10 people in it & the fact that it was my first time i enjoyed how welcoming everyone was, Nancy included. Everything was very clean & organized. Some advice: although drops ins are welcome($15) i can see why registering online would be the better option. Your info is already in their system when you arrive & you're off to pick your spot. Also, parking is limited to what you can find on the main road so try to arrive early if you take one of the afternoon classes i can see someone driving around or walking alittle to get to the studio. They have some mats that you can buy, there were also some mats on the shelves that im assuming you can use for a fee if you dont have one, I'm not sure about the specifics on this one because I took my own, but if you don't have one call ahead and ask. Conclusion: I really enjoyed myself & how patient Nancy was, i will be back.

Made a reservation with Catherine, whose barre class I had enjoyed in the past. Catherine has amazing energy, both grounding and motivating to keep you focused while you push to your edge. Ive had a family membership here for almost 10yrs. My wife has been way more consistent thanks to…read morethe childcare program that they have. It's available daily for up to two hours per child. Theres one downstairs for younger children and one upstairs for older kids. They also have parents night out events that let you drop your kids off for pizza and movies. They have lots of options to choose between for all types of fitness levels and interests. They have a great weight room area and equally great machine area, they have yoga rooms, stationary bike room, a rock climbing wall and much more. The recreational pool is heated, lap pool isn't and the kiddie pool isn't either but it's a great cold plunge in the winter. I usually hit that then the sauna before my workouts. They have a basketball court inside and pickle ball courts outside in the back which always has action on them. Theres so much more they offer but I still have not had the chance to try it all out. Their juice/ snack bar is amazing. The soups and wraps are fire!! I highly recommend this place, especially if you have kids. The staff is great and the place is clean. Can't think of anything negative about this place to be honest.

Airport Health Club is a relatively small, close gym where members know each other and talk. Because of that, I've heard many conversations about negative interactions with Alexa at the front desk/ around gym and after experiencing it myself, I now understand exactly what they were talking about. It was disappointing to see that's why I decided to write a review. It's not necessarily what is said it's how it's said. I had been communicating with the finance department by email/ over phone about adding my fiancé to my membership. When we arrived, I simply tried to explain that he was accompanying me so we could complete the process. Before I could even finish my sentence, Alexa interrupted me and spoke to me in a condescending and unfriendly manner. There was absolutely no reason for the attitude when I was simply trying to explain the situation. I've referred three friends, my mother joined because of my recommendation, and I was in the process of adding my fiancé. I genuinely enjoy this gym, which is exactly why this interaction was so frustrating. As a business owner myself, I understand how important customer service is. The front desk staff are the face of the business and set the tone for every member's experience. One employee can either strengthen a company's reputation or damage it. Alexa's behavior did not reflect the welcoming environment that members expect. I sincerely hope management takes this feedback and customer service training happends seriously because no member should be made to feel unwelcome, disrespected, or dismissed the moment they walk through the door.

I tried a few places in town (sort of like goldilocks, something just wasn't right for me with each of them), before a friend recommended her favorite place, Tone - Pilates, Dance, Yoga. Thank goodness! I just love it! Not only does my membership provide me with the yoga classes and yoga studio I was looking for, but they have the largest schedule of fitness class offered over all the other clubs in town I looked at. So besides yoga, I have also done Pilates mat classes, Cardio Toning, Zumba, Barre toning classes and they even have adult ballet, which looks fun. The owners Alyson and Monica are so sweet (as are all the staff). They all are warm, inviting and inclusive. Tone feels like a community, a community of new friends. Which is also so important. I now recommend it to everyone new that I meet and have had several friends and co-workers join. They offer a free pass on their website, which is also really nice for first time visitors and guests. It is a special place and a warm and welcoming yoga studio, fitness studio, Pilates studio, dance studio and community for everyone and I can't recommend it enough.

I expected stares but everyone was feeling focused on getting through the workout. It was very hard. I didn't feel like this was beginner or tail bone injury friendly. So tips from a newbie like me 1. Stretch before you get there. 2. Drink water. 3. Just do the best you can. I modified a lot of my moves but got through it. I would come again. Maybe practice a little at home now that I know what's going on.

I started seeing a difference in my body after only a few classes. I was more toned, I had more energy, and I lost a lot of the stubborn baby weight that was clinging to me. They're great about offering alternatives if something doesn't feel quite right, and I really appreciate that they walk around and gently help correct your form so you get the most out of each move.
