I've been to a lot of nail salons & this is by far my favorite. I drive from Murfreesboro just to get my nails done here. If you call ahead & make an appointment you won't wait as long as walking in. They have a pretty big selection of gel polishes & their pedicures are the best my feet always feel amazing afterwards & the polish stays on for a good 3 weeks or until the next time I need another one. The only thing I don't like is they don't use liners on their tubs for the pedicures but I've never had a problem with anything. Everytime I get a fill in it ALWAYS lasts until the next time I need a new one. Tein is the best there for acrylics! read more

After having a horrible experience at another nail establishment I went to Lavender's in hopes of having them fix it. The owner did an excellent job! He took his time and made sure my nails were exactly how I wanted them. Nail salons now rush you out the door, but NOT lavender's. They pay attention to detail and make you feel comfortable instead of just another paying customer. Everyone is very nice and professional. If you want an affordable manicure or pedicure come here! DO NOT waste your time even attempting to come to this shop! Their staff is extremely rude, inconsiderate and could care less about their customers. I had been going to this shop for nearly 2 years, and in the past 6 months their service has been HORRENDOUS. I had been going to TIEN, and no matter what, he will have you waiting 30-1 hour past your appointment time to even start on your nails. In my most recent (& LAST) time visiting, I arrived 10 minutes past my appointment time of 5pm due to the terrible Antioch traffic. At 5:45 when he was finally done with the client he had been working on, he decides to take another client over me because I was 10 mins late and refused to give me a time estimate as to when he would he would do my nails. The time before that, I had an appointment at the same time and he took another client over me again, claiming my appointment was an hour later than I scheduled it for. Once he finally did start my nails, he was very short with me and ridiculously rude. And I only started going to TIEN, because another worker AMBER literally yelled at me because I said I did not like my full set she started gluing on, which she was clearly rushing through and ignoring what I had asked for. It's very clear that the staff at Lavender doesn't care about their clients, not even those who've been loyal getting serviced there for a long time. I've given them chances despite all the other negative reviews, but I can't keep giving my money to this rude, short tempered, inconsiderate staff and their over priced establishment. read more

I took a long lunch to get my super busted acrylics filled in. Some were broken and they just looked horrible after not having the time to get them done in a month. They got me right in and it only took her 40 minutes to turn my nails into something I was proud to show again. I love the finished product. Staff was friendly, the service was fast. Just moved back to Nashville and read all the wonderful reviews about this place, so I decided to try them out. They were busy packed right when they opened but I was able to get in and get my service started. I got a polish change on my toes and a fill and gel polish on my nails. The polish job on my toes was just okay. My nails started out good but ended with something I didn't want. I asked for really square but got really square on one corner of some of my nails and square/round on some of the other corners. By the time I realized what was going on, my nails were already too short for him to fix it. The price would have been good if the job was done right. Won't be back. I'll keep exploring. read more

Joanne does a great job on my nails however the staff is very inflexible when comes to fixing any damages that happen to your nails. I am a very faithful customer but on 2 occasions I've had something happen to my nails and NOBODY was willing to repair it unless Joanne was there. The repair was extremely minor (putting 1 rhinestone back on one nail) and they claimed they were so busy 30 minutes after opening the store that NOBODY could fix it. I think this is absurd considering that I am a faithful customer that lives 30 minutes away and has to come in when it works for my schedule. After this set of nails I plan on finding another shop closer to me that values there customers more. read more

If I could give no stars I would! I had been at this location plenty of times before but this last time I went was such a horrible experience I will not be going back! I sat down with my friend, the employee came and turned on my water, it was very hot so I didn't put my feet in. He asked if the water was fine and I said it was too hot, he didn't do anything about it. Right away he started taking off the color on my nails not so well if you ask me. I still had some of the red nail polish on my nails by the end! Right away he started cutting my nails didn't even bother filing my nails nor checking if they were looking the same size nor good as he went. I didn't stop him I continued bc I'm not the type of person to complain. He began with my other foot and same exact way did not take his time and acted like he had no patience ! It was not even that chaotic busy to not be able to take his time. He put my feet back in the water. When it came time to put the hot towels on my legs I let him know how I didn't like how he just tossed them on there with no technique and he didn't seem to care looking at me fixing it, rudely he offered me to put the other on myself on my other leg!!! That is where I said this is unbelievable! I was extremely upset 1-2 minutes later he comes back attempting to put the nail polish on my toes. When he started right away he did it with a matter of not even wanting to be doing it at all! That was the last straw, I could not bare him finishing my toes. I decided I did not want to continue, and he didn't take it so well. He got up and went to another customer that was two chairs down from me and right away began to start talking about me to the customer, VERY UNPROFESSIONAL ! I told him he needed to stop taking about me to the other customer, Instead of stopping he turns around and begins to argue with me! Me (as the bigger person) I stop and not try to carry him on but he continues and makes the whole nail salon aware of what was going on. THROUGHOUT THE WHOLE INCIDENT NO OTHER EMPLOYEE OR MANAGEMENT did ANYTHING about the situation. I called out to the other employees and told them to do something, a women came to me asked what happen I told her, she didn't even apologize simply asked if I would like to continue with someone else . NO I did not, the only reason I wasn't leaving was for my friend but the man continued to talk more and more and I could not take it anymore therefore I LEFT & WILL NEVER RETURN. I came here because it was close to my daughter's job, and I really enjoyed the experience. very professional, classy environment, my nail tech was so detailed , I'm sorry I don't remember his name but he was on the right hand side when you walk in second from the last seat. he looked at each nail and made sure they were even, he also gave me my pedicure and did an excellent job on that as well. even though I got there about 6:30 and they close at 7:00 pm I did not feel rushed!!!!! Lavender nails is the ghetto by far! I had a horrible experience with Huyen! She is fast and sloppy and kept telling me what she wanted to do or what she thought needed to be done to my nails instead of what i TOLD her to do. Her suggestions weren't from a place of professionalism either but laziness. I asked to soak off my acrylic and she insisted i get a fill in until i told her that i feel it's best to soak off and i wanted gel polish instead. She finally did start the soak off process eventually revealing two nails that developed fungus underneath the acrylic i had only had about 3-4 weeks (that was also done there). I don't get fungus at any other nail shop. She also ended up knicking my thumb cuticle as she was drilling off the acrylic and i had to ask HER to get the green sterile droplets, to which she replied "I'll get it later" no you get it NOW! That's unsanitary !!. She also kept also saying just leave it like that , leave it like that if i complained about her filing being uneven or noticed a nail needed a little more trimming ... When removing my toe nail polish she left the residue from the polish she removed all over my toes. She was nasty as well i saw her touch things, scratch her hair and face without sanitizing her hands prior to resuming work on nails. It's always ridiculously busy, they barely take appointments and now will be closing on Sundays. Prices also in my opinion are ridiculous for the service. DO NOT RECOMMEND. Not to mention i had to come back less than two days later, because my GEL polish was already chipping. read more

I have frequented this establishment for approximately three years and for the most part I have been satisfied up until my last visit. I asked for one service and received another and was forced to pay for that service because the nail tech chose to do what he wanted and not just what I asked. TERRIBLE SERVICE!! JASON the manager is ABSOLUTELY RUDE and doesn't know anything about customer satisfaction. I've been going to this place for 4 years and haven't really had any contact with him until a couple of months back when one of the manicures (male) cut my toe very deep during a pedicure. I asked for bandaid he said he doesn't have any and when it was painful, I asked again and he went and got me some!!! My toe kept bleeding and he kept saying sorry but then started laughing and I couldn't understand a word he was saying. I asked to speak to the manager, told him what happened and that I don't want this guy to do my nails and enough damaged. The manager Jason did my nails, didn't apologize and I was telling him how of unprofessional the service is and how painful my toe is hurting. He just nodded his head and kept talking to the manicures next to him that was doing my sister's nails. I was very upset and said that I won't come back to this place. While paying, he gave me a $10 gift certificate without a smile or a sincere apology. Yesterday, after 2 months, I had a busy 2weeks and really only had a couple of hrs to get my nails done. I decided to give them another chance and this time called ahead and requested a specific one to work on my nails. She did a great job. I was running late and made sure I informed them. I wanted to add a design so they had another one do it for me which she terribly did and had me stay from 6pm to 8:20pm. Ended up not doing t design, she removed it and had me walk out with no polish on 2 of my fingers and said to come back the next day. AGAIN, JASON THE MANAGER WAS EXTREMELY RUDE when I was leaving and as I came back the next morning. He wouldn't even look at me and was VERY DISRESPECTFUL!! HE RAISED HIS VOICE AT ME AND BASICALLY SAID THAT I DONT NEED TO BE GOING BACK THERE!!! and the FUNNY BUT SAD PART is that when I tried talking back to him; he actually covered his ears with his hands and kept saying "go bye, go bye" made me feel like I'm talking to my 12 years old sister!!
