The vibes were off when I walked in, like they didn't want to service a black woman. Two white women walked in after me and got offered a drink - I didn't. Ivy literally broke my natural nails by ripping off the press on nails I had on previously instead of soaking them off. I asked if I could get gel or dip instead of regular polish and she looked at me like it was a problem, so I said don't worry about it. The owner proceeded to paint my nails worse than a 5 year old. With all of this being said, I got charged $70 for this trash ass service(pedicure & paint on my cuticles). My nails are not all the same length and the french tips are thicker on one side then on the other on each finger, plus the sizing of the tips is inconsistent. They also put nowhere on the website that they charge extra for shaping the nails and the polish used, and do not tell you. You find out when you get to the check out and see the extra charges on there. I paid $80 when on the website for acrylics it only said $55. I do not recommend going to this nail salon. read more

I am so happy I found this place!! Needing a bit of self-care on a hard day, I called to see if there were openings. They got me in right away and were very friendly. I wanted a powder dip manicure and a regular pedicure. I ended up getting a gel pedicure with paraffin wax. I'm not sure the paraffin wax "treatment" was effective, but it felt oh so great, so I don't mind! I wanted an ombre design on my powder dip and they were confident they could make it happen. My nails were shorter than typical for me (again, pretty stressful times lately) and I was worried they were a little too short to get the desired effect. Jennifer offered to add tips and reassured me they would not be too long. I trusted her and went with it. They turned out great!! I am hopeful this manicure is my new go-to and once my natural nails grow out, I won't need the tips by my next visit. *fingers crossed!* Either way, I'm so so pleased and relieved I could have a relaxing visit to the nail salon with people who were friendly, helpful, gentle, and talented! read more

Received one of the worst pedicures of my life this AM. I'm leaving with cracked heels, toenails that were clipped so short they hurt and 2 hours wasted. After the whole experience I was given 20% off but fair warning, the 4.4 review is so deceiving. Side note: this is the 3rd time I've tried this place. I really enjoyed my time at the Nail Lounge Bellevue (and they happen to have two other locations if you happen to live near Hermitage or the new Hwy 100 location). This was a location that truly felt larger and more luxe on the inside. The outside looks like a regular strip mall, and then you're transported to a minimal but glam interior. Compared to other nail specialty locations, I felt like this one smelled less like chemicals. I'm not sure if it's the products they use or the sheer efficiency of the staff, but this place is pristine-clean. I would suggest making an appointment, especially if you're thinking of going on a Saturday. However, I was able to make a same-day appointment and even change it when a previous event ran long. They are super easygoing and helpful to meet your scheduling needs. In terms of nails, I got a spa manicure and pedicure. The chairs are adjustable massage ones, and the woman who did my pedicure did a phenomenal job with the gel: they were and still are flawless. (I do think she was surprised at the honestly horrendous state of my feet, so that goes to show the lengths they will go to ensure you leave beautified). My manicurist was hilarious and so easy to talk to. He's actually the manager of the Hermitage location, and he's a great conversationalists. As someone who is Chinese-American, it was lovely to bond over similar lived experiences with my Vietnamese-American nail tech. The dip nails I received were amazing: gradient just like I wanted with added sparkle. I highly recommend this location to anyone looking for a professional quality nail job amongst the warmest staff members. read more

Friendly. Nice firm massage by my male nail tech (no name tag, but had a lovely "family" tattoo on his forearm. Not too noisy even with adjacent construction going on -- hot tip: they are expanding to double size and will soon have SEPARATE rooms for manicures versus pedicures. Awful service! Two months ago I went for a brand new acrylic set and the guy was so rough removing my old acrylics that he damaged my thumb nail. Not only did I have to wait 2 weeks for my thumb to heal so it could be painted, but they were thick, clumpy and terrible. Today, I went back to one of the girls and she was so rude! She told me I was difficult because I asked her to repaint a heart design that was running down the nail. I'll never go back! Terrible service and terrible job! read more

I wanted to like this place so bad because there are almost no good nail salons around Bellevue. Everything went wrong the moment I stepped inside. I checked-in, sat down and the front desk employee went outside and was yelling for the manicurist to come inside. When I parked I could see him standing around on the sidewalk smoking. This man did not wash his hands, and considering he's touching MY HANDS, it was horrendous. I got an acrylic manicure and it turned out okay. The shaping is off and my nails are very very thick. They priced it decently, which truthfully was a first in Nashville. The manicurist kept calling me "baby" and would say "baby, how do you like that", "that looks great baby", "I'll take care of you my baby". Talking very unprofessionally and making me extremely uncomfortable. All the reviews for this place look good, which was why I went but I will never be going back. read more

I'm torn, because I really want to like this salon. Several weeks ago, I went in and got a fantastic dip manicure. I forget the technicians name, but he did a great job and was extremely friendly! It lasted almost 3 weeks and didn't leave my nails too damaged. I decided to go back for another dip manicure last week, and the experience was night and day. My tech was rushing to get the job done and it was obvious, despite the fact that they weren't very busy. No cuticle trim, and she was very aggressive with the nail drill. She only did two coats on one hand, and then three on the other. The coats are uneven, as are the top coats. It's already cracking for this reason. On top of that, the tech made comments about how bad my skin was and it was honestly, rude. I think this might be a hit or miss establishment. If you get someone who takes the time to do your nails properly, you'll be very pleased with the result. I just hope there's a little more consistency in the future. read more

I went to this Salon for the first time with my husband. We each got a pedicure, he got a manicure, and I got a full set with dip in the shape of square. We were charged for 2 manicures, nail lengthening, nail shaping, and a full gel set (my nails are in the shape of square so they are not actually shaped. And I did not receive a manicure). When we asked why we were getting charged for 2 manicures and the extra cost on my nails they told us to "just pay for it and they will explain it when we got our receipt." However they told us that they do not do refunds so they made us pay for stuff we did not get and then did not refund us. I definitely wouldn't recommend this place. They did a decent job on our nails but the pedicure sucked, and they will try to get over on you without refunding. read more

As advertised, they line the pedicure spa tubs for each customer and use one-time use kits. They have a fabulous color selection.
