Situated between Moe's and McAlister's in Thoroughbred Village on Cool Springs Boulevard, Nailvibe is a fairly recent addition to the area...and a welcome one at that! My office is right around the corner and one of my new things is trying to treat myself a bit more with the basics of self-care, including mani/pedis. So, I decided to give Nailvibe a try given its convenience and solid reviews so far! It was really cool to walk in and see the spot thriving, as I remember last year watching the sign go up, and the interior be built out as I was grabbing lunch next door. Cool full circle moment! The space is not huge, but it is well laid out, bright, clean and equipped with all the goods needed for the most basic of services to the most glamorous. Since I am still new to the whole self-care thing, for the most part, I went with the essential mani/pedi. Pricing of the combo is roughly $75 combined. A bit higher than I pay closer to the city, but this seems standard for the Cool Springs/Franklin area...and honestly, it was worth it for the vibes, massage chair and services. Staff was super friendly and welcoming. Overall, Nailvibe is a cool spot that I definitely will continue hitting up after a stressful or not so stressful day at the office! read more

Unfortunately I didn't like my experience in this nail salon. I had an appointment at 10 and didn't leave until like close to 1pm, took a little too long for me. I got a pedicure and a full set with gel x. I chose the basic pedicure (45$ it says) and I needed to get acrylic on one toe and I also chose gel; for my full set I had to remove an old set and get gel x as a new one, I chose short square with French tips. The total was 177$. Way too pricey for me especially because the set I got in my hands was nothing too crazy and the total still went up to 177$. I couldn't even tell if I paid a lot for my pedi or for my hands... basic pedi for 45$, I get that there's may be a price increase for acrylic on one toe and gel color but it was still too much...let's say even 20 extra $ for gel and 10$ for acrylic that is 75$, so more than 100$ for a short french tips... and also the acrylic on my toes chipped literally 3 days later and my hands don't look either (color is not shine anymore in some areas, the gel close to the cuticles is lifting...) read more

Found this place because I couldn't get into my usual nail salon (which is much nicer and $65 for a gel pedicure). Lesson learned. read more

I think I finally found my mani/pedi spot in Cool Springs! My friend & I came late on a Sunday and got the Relaxation Pedicures - it truly was so relaxing - love the sea salt scrub, the choice of an essential oil (peppermint, lavender, rose, and maybe a citrus one?), the stones and 10 min massage! It was such a treat! We really enjoyed the staff that were friendly with us and one another, helping making our experience great! We both were offer complimentary drinks & went with red wine and enjoyed the massage chairs, being on the shorter side - I esp. appreciated the pillow for lower lumbar support. The whole shops is clean, modern, and comfortable. I am planning to return for a mani soon. I feel that the prices were fair, not too high, while not the cheapest in the area. Nailvibe is relatively new salon in the area. I've been twice so far and it's nice and modern on the inside. I made reservations over the phone both times and I think they either overbook or understaff themselves. Both times, I had to wait even though I had a scheduled appointment. This past visit, I made an appointment at 3pm but didn't get started until after 4pm. I still recommend this salon because the quality of the service is really great. I had Trin both times for my builder gel nails, and she does an excellent job at making sure my nails turn out exactly how I want. I would definitely go back l to her again, but will probably stick to scheduling the first appointment of the day to avoid a wait time. read more

awful first experience. called the make sure they could see me and they said yes. got sat the guy at the front forgot about me passed me and said "are you getting a pedicure?" like I'm sitting here for nothing.... then left me sitting there for 40 minutes by that time the water was cold. had to ask to owner what was going on. felt rush the entire time! the lady doing my nails literally stated how she did a poor job and she usually does better but when she has to do nails from the pedicure chair they are not good... after saying how short nails don't look good.... never once did they apologize for making my appointment feel rushed, leaving me sitting for over an hour before coming over to me. Walked in for a pedicure, initially going to get the relaxation pedicure for $58. I opted for express pedicure for $45 without tip. Except I didn't realize express equaled rush pedicure. My pedicure lasted 30 min from start to finish, this is including the 5 min it took her to remove my stubborn glitter polish I had on. I barely soaked my toes, she barely pushed my cuticles ,more like touched them with the tool. What a compete disappointment and waste of money!!!! Glad I did not go for the relaxation pedicure. I made an appointment for 11:15 am for a builder gel filler. i walked in at 11:05 and sat at the counter for 5 minutes without anyone looking up from their work and acknowledging me. After another 5 minutes a woman walked up to me and asked if i had an appointment I told her yes and sat for another 15 minutes waiting. By 11:30 no one had even let me know when I would be helped. Very disappointing service. If i had the time to wait 30 minutes for a nail appointment I wouldn't made an APPOINTMENT. read more

I'm not sure if I caught my guy on a bad day or what but his attitude was not it. I got a design with multiple different colors and it took about an hour and a half to complete. The whole time I felt like I should be apologizing to him, and I did, because of his huffing and puffing about my nails. I made sure to ask them if the design was possible before even committing to get them done and they said yes with no hesitation. I knew it wasn't the easiest nail design but it was far from complicated. They ended up up-charging me $60 for the design on top of the $70 I was already paying for my nails. I was fully expecting extra cost but nothing that extreme, aka $60 for 10 stars and some different colors. He did a good job on the nails overall but I feel like I should never have to feel like i'm inconveniencing someone who is providing me a service. I'm feeling confused and upset. I had a gel manicure with Destiny one week ago, but I have two nails that are already starting to chip, so I scheduled another appointment with Destiny for today. When I walked in, I was approached by another women named Stefanie who informed me that Destiny was still working on another client and asked me if I'd like to see a different nail tech. I let her know that I really wanted to see Destiny still. Then Stefanie floored me and said that Destiny no longer wishes to see me and feels like she won't be able to satisfy me and that I won't be able to see her any longer. Whaaat???? I have the most basic gel manicure, nothing complicated whatsoever. My nails aren't very long, and I don't have any nail art. I've never picked up on any negative vibes the two times I've seen her, and I always tip 20%. I distinctly remember telling her that I loved my nails the last time I saw her. I don't know what the REAL reason is for this poor excuse that was given and feel that it was very insulting for me to be told that she just didn't think she could achieve the result I wanted. It makes it seem like I'm a difficult client, but I'm not at all. I'm left feeling a pit in my stomach and utterly confused. Is it because she only wants to work on clients who do nail art and spend more money? I'll probably never know the real reason, but I do know that I was lied to today. I also wasted my time because I had driven thirty minutes to get there, and another forty five minutes to get home. In addition to that, I had just purchased a monthly membership on my prior appointment a week ago. Stefanie let me know that she would refund my money and promised she would get back to me in a little while to let me know I had been refunded, but I never heard back from her. I will call the salon tomorrow to request a refund again, but I don't have a good feeling about the integrity of this salon and anticipate I may have to call my credit card company to file a claim. read more
