At the end of it the masseuse wanted a tip and I told them I had no cash but she ruffled through my wallet and took singles out of my wallet and put it in her pocket. I thought how petty but I understand that business is bad and in that town they do tip high. I live nearby and have been visiting this place off and on for several years. Initially it was very good and then changed management and had a much younger, less experienced staff for a while. However the last few years this has become my go-to place again. I have visited at various days and times both by myself and with a friend and have had excellent massages from both male and female staff. Their prices are posted clearly right where you walk in so there's no confusion about what you want or what you will be paying. ( I have no idea why this review says that I live in San Francisco. This place is an absolute SCAM! They're prices are hidden and very unclear. I asked for a 60 min. Massage ($35) and that's what I got - instead they charged me $40. Then they decide to tack on a random $3 "fee"... um, excuse me? Also thought they could play the "I no speaky English" card yet mysteriously were fluent when I first arrived. This place is great! Me and my girlfriend go here all the time. We are both trying to lose weight so we're working out all the time and always sore. The staff is very friendly and professional and the massage is always excellent. If you are sore from working out a massage seriously helps so much. We have never made an appointment always just walked in. The price is like half of what those fancy massage places charge and the massage is just as good. After being to the Foot Relaxing Station in Selden many, many times, we were on Long Island for a few hours and decided to look for a similar place in Huntingdon Station. BAD MISTAKE. The two ladies who worked on my wife and me were nice enough, but no great effort went into what they did. First, the one who worked on my wife started a timer. There was no one there to work on me. Finally, she showed up about 5 minutes later. Neck and shoulder massage? Meh. Really lousy. Foot massage was just OK. Mostly just a rubdown, not what I have become used to at Foot Relaxing Station. The alarm went off, supposedly at the end of the 60 minutes. My person jumped right up and disappeared. Wait! You started wayyyyy after your partner.....didn't matter. Oh, and unlike Foot Relaxing Station where they give you another few minutes on your shoulders and back when they finish, this was not to happen in this place. Worst of all? When I paid, they DEMANDED a tip of $10 each. I had given them each $5, which was a fair tip for a $28 massage that was really lacking. You better believe I didn't give them a dime more, and it looked like they were going to get nasty until I told them if they insisted on more money I would never return. Which, I wouldn't do anyway. They backed off, and if I had my wits about me I would have taken back the tip I had left on the counter. Bad, bad, bad manners--terribly pushy and rude. Nice and cleaned rooms and suitable price. the masseuses are very skillful. I do a lot cycling and exercising, I go there once a week. it helps me get rid of pain and stress. If you feel your body is stressed and intense this is a good place to relax. read more
