I was tempted to drive back, but resisted because thunder and heavy rain was predicted, though it didn't materialize. We bought some garlic herb goat cheese from Four Hearts Farm and a blueberry scone from another stall. The baker of the scones also had pies and breads, more sweet than savory, muffins and other assorted baked goods. We admired some stunningly gorgeous plum tomatoes and I wish we'd bought them. Finally, we bought some white nectarines, so far superior to the ones at Hanaford as to seem like another species entirely. It was a marvelous farmers' market w/ other produce we didn't buy because we're not home and can't use it, like eggplant and other vegetables. Alan just ate one of the nectarines and pronounced it juicy and delicious. "I took a bath in it!", he said.

On a recent hunt for a Christmas tree, my family and I came here to see what they offered. They had an abundance of Christmas trees that were full and smelled perfectly. Also, the workers are not intrusive or follow you around. They allow you the time to look around, and they offer their help when it is appropriate. Their trees run for about $35-$55 depending on the size. If you don't find what you see in the ones that are displayed, they also have a variety of other trees spread out throughout the facility that they are willing to show. Overall, this is a great spot to get your next Christmas tree, kissing ball, or other holiday needs!

Since it's small you don't always have the most choice to "shop around" on costs, but it's all fresh! Other tents have gourmet jams, loose leaf tea, breads/baked goods, pasta sauce and maple products, meat, beauty products/soap and fresh cut flowers among other things you can usually find as well. One thing that I can't find here that disappoints me is any delicious local cheese or other dairy products so don't count on finding that.
