Butternut Farm is the perfect PYO experience. Beautiful area, season-long choices of strawberries, blueberries. Peaches, apples, and many more. It's a great family countryside experience, and they have fresh apple cider donuts, plus you can buy some of their hard cider (and nonalcoholic cider too) there. If you're not up for picking your own, no worries, they sell picked fruit, honey, jams and jellies. The kids will love the goats. We started going there when our kids were little in the 1990's, and it keeps gettin better every year.

I took a 3-year old on their day off, but they let us play with the goats. We had a great time in a great environment.

Amazing precautions taken to prevent overcrowding. Online reservation system was easy to use and efficient and provided additional Covid related information. Staff was so friendly and helpful, they for sure went above and beyond. The grounds were beautifully maintained and clearly marked and organized. Cannot rate butternut farms higher, thanks for a great day!

    Cherry tree. Great condition!

Gross place, blaring techno music when people are trying to relax, over priced. Go anywhere else.

Get your pick on!…read more Had a fantastic time with the family picking early season raspberries, apples and peaches. The orchard grows a ton of different apple varieties so there's good picking during the full apple season. We got to choose between Zestar and Jerseymac apples during our visit. I'm a big fan of crisp and tart so the Zestars fit the bill. Peach picking was a bit of the same only fewer varieties. Raspberry picking was a fun new experience. You're essentially hunting and the fruit that is ready to be picked will slide off their cone-like cores. Since it was early in the season most of the berries were small or immature and there were a ton of bees buzzing around. I mean a ton where you'd go to pick and they would be buzzing around your hand. Don't worry though! The bees are friendly and indifferent to your picking the fruit. Just be gentle. Pro tip: come on a day where there's a breeze. We went on a still day in August and it was hot! 90 minutes in the sun and we were feeling pretty crunchy.

They were so flavorful and perfectly ripe. Everyone was very friendly and social distancing was being enforced while inside the barn where you pay. Will definitely go back here next season!
