The owner was professional and punctual when he came to look at the trees to give me an estimate. He ended up advising to cut a third tree down because it was right next to the creek that runs behind our house and the roots were exposed and it could come down if the ground got too wet. This is the reason we took down the other trees. He gave us a very good quote compared to the guys that came after. They arrived on time on the day of the service. They even had to take my fence down and did it seamlessly. They took care of my property as well as the plant and grass in the area. When they got finished they left my yard clean of any debris and they put my fence back up to where it looks like nothing ever happened. I have a yard full of trees and this company will definitely be my go to when I need the next tree down.

We needed our backyard cleared for a new playground set for our kids. DTS is These 100% capable of handling big or small jobs. This company has all the right employees and equipment. All limb debris were chipped onsite and leftover large logs were neatly staged roadside for pick up, while all lose debris were hauled away in a dump truck! I was outside speaking to the plumber and saw the Duncan truck driving by. We flagged him down, he gave us and estimate on the spot and was out the next day. The Maple was about 80 ft tall and close to the house. They cut it down with no damage to the property and cleaned everything up. Honestly, you would have never known they were there or the tree was there. They are amazing, professional, dependable and the pricing is fantastic. We called Excel originally to cut down some trees in our back yard. They were great about protecting the grass and working steadily until job was finished. They blew everything off and picked up all the little branches too. Very professional, efficient, and safety conscious. My other neighbor recommended them. If you end up spending less but get really crappy service, in the end you have to ask yourself was it worth it. They showed up a day late without so much as a courtesy call to let me know they weren't going to make my appointed day/time. When they finally cut my tree down, when it fell it destroyed a floral arrangement I had. They went and replaced the wood but it wasn't until later that I saw that they didn't replace all of what was destroyed. They did a horrible job of cleaning up and left my yard in complete shambles. My sidewalk and driveway are permanently scarred and chipped. Dale tried to assure me the long marks would 'wash off' but it's permanent damage. Dale got very belligerent with me as l pointed out the damage they caused. I had to sternly tell him he needed to lower his voice and calm down. As if that wasn't bad enough they left 80ft of timber in my yard for a week and a half. After waiting the 2 or 3 days Dale said it would take I began calling them daily. He stopped answering my calls altogether. I left message after message without hearing back. Finally I got through after remembering that dialing *67 hides your number. This trick worked as Dale answered and I told him he needed to come get these logs as it was killing my grass and well past the 2 or 3 days he said it would take. He yelled back at me telling me and I quote 'there's nothing like I can do' I told him to come get the logs or I was seeking legal action for the logs amd the damage to driveway and sidewalk. He hung up in my face but an hour later a guy shows up to take the logs. I do not recommend these guys as they are unreliable and not true to their word. Yes my tree is gone but the damage they left wasn't worth the cheaper price I paid. Not at all! CAVEAT EMPTOR....BUYER BEWARE!!!
