I've been utilizing their services for over 13 years now. Terra, Dave and Cindy and their team have been truly amazing throughout the entire time I've been associated with them. I've witnessed other companies treat my yard in 5 minutes. You simply can't walk my property in that time. Yet I've watched Lawn Doctor treat my entire property many many times and it's always full coverage. They leave a detailed report on the condition of my lawn inclusive of suggestions, not looking for more business, but really good suggestions. I have a LONG battle with lawn ivy. An extremely hard weed to be rid of. Each time it comes back, Tara and her team comes back out to address the issue and has never asked for additional payments. Over the years I've had many questions as to how to make my yard more healthy and robust. Each time I call them, they come out to evaluate my lawn and offer strong suggestions at no charge. We were quite happy with our previous company and service but were told prices could be beat by Lawn Doctor and that they were very happy with the service. Not having any luck on my own, I finally gave in and called Lawn Doctor of Ridgefield-New Milford. Since starting the program mid-season last year, I find them always quick to respond to any question or concern in a friendly and helpful manner. Our lawn is very small with tight spaces so the last application was actually done by hand to ensure complete coverage and, with that, no telltale marks from the machine trying to maneuver around our small yard (a big plus). This LD team really goes above and beyond to ensure the best results possible, no matter the size of the lawn, and that their customers are satisfied with the progress of their program. It's taken a little time, but our lawn is definitely coming in greener and thicker this season with virtually no weeds. It's doing great things for our home's curb appeal! read more

We've been using Lawn Doctor for over ten years now after first trying out two other companies. I can't say enough good things about Lawn Doctors. They thoroughly know their business and are conscientiously professional. All workers from the owners to the business office to the service men are approachable. They are flexible and work with your budget to get the best bang for your buck. Unlike the larger companies that schedule things according to their time schedule regardless of weather or other variables (and sometimes hurting the lawn in the process), Lawn Doctors will always take into account the best timing to do things for everyone (lawn included). I have used Lawn Doctor for quite a few years now. When they first started working for me, my lawn, (actually crabgrass and bare spots) had been neglected by me for many years. Because of the poor conditions to start with I had slim hopes of an "over night" success. The improvement at the end of that first season was tremendous. By the fall of the second season I was actually getting compliments from friends, neighbors, and passersby on how great the lawn looked and the compliments have continued each and every year since. They treat their customers with courtesy and they work on your property as if they are working on their own. I'm getting Spring fever with this nice weather we're having. Our lawn was in rough shape last year with lots of weeds and bare spots where I burned it with stuff I bought at the store. So far I am very pleased with the service. I just recently had my lawn power seeded and it has responded very nicely. I had a good deal of problem areas which seem to be responding very well. Used their aeration service last year and while it did respond well, the very dry summer and lack of water ( well ) created many dry spots which have responded well to the power seeding this fall. I hired Lawn Doctor to fix up my yard. We had damage to the lawn from a bad storm in the spring and it looked terrible. They came in to kill the weeds, fertilize, like and seed the lawn this fall. The lawn is lush and thick. Zero weeds. When I first started with you guys the yard was nothing but weeds as previous owners did not care. Thanks for the tips on moss and for applying grub protection last year. I did not have any issues with moles whatsoever.
