He said he'd put soil under the sod, but didn't, and told me it would take a week, then in 2.5 days wanted an outrageous amount for the work. He didn't know how to do a budget estimate and when I did one for the materials and labor, I realized he was trying to charge me at a top lawyer rate hourly. He told me that the shrubs he was putting in were $250 each. I took a picture of them at $99 each at Home Depot. I asked what nursery he bought them, but he would tell me. Beware of the cute guy, who smiles sweetly at you and then plans to scam you. Beware!
