Our yards (front and back) are insane. Besides the deep emerald color of healthy grass (even during the really dry summer times) the grass grows lush and even. Before starting service with Lawn Doctor our grass was dull, patchy, and nearly dead by the end of summer no matter how much over the counter fertilizer and plant food we fed it. We did the sprinklers in the evening, regular mowing, seeding the bald patches, etc. It always looked dull. The only time the grass looked like grass was in the Spring when it first grew and it was all downhill from there. Now some might say it's grass just let it grow, but having a healthy lawn is the point isn't it? So we signed up with the Lawn Doctor and never looked back. Now it's a pleasure to walk barefoot on the grass because it's like a green carpet that you grow. My Techican Mr. Winston Mobuary is. an outstanding professional with incredible personality and his passion for his work shows . I was mowing the lawn incorrectly as the blade was not at the right height. Mr Mobuary took the time to show me the correct height and explained what is needed to maintain a beautiful lawn. When I had some weird looking grass growing earlier this year, I contacted the Lawn Doctor office via email, and within a few hours, I received a response explaining what it was( crabgrass - see pics) and the solution. My wife and I had a new house built in 2018 and of course with a new house comes a new yard. Just like several other neighbors we tried to treat and seed the yard on our own and after a year we weren't making much progress. While our neighbors continued to try things on their own, we decided to give Lawn Doctor a call. They came out and looked at our yard and made several recommendations on what we could do to get where we wanted to be. In July of 2019 we started treatments with them and had them do power seeding in the fall. Even with the very dry summer and fall, we now have the best looking yard on our street. Lawn Doctor is the best lawn service in the Reisterstown area. We have used their service for many years and have always received appropriate lawn care in a timely manner. What encouraged me to submit a review besides their service, is the Newsletter that is sent ( online) monthly. This month was exceptional with information on lawn care, effects of the wet winter ( 2018-2019) in addition to what and when to prune or NOT to prune. I found this information extremely helpful. For the last couple of years I contracted another lawn service company treat and seed my lawn as their claim was environmentally sound. I was with the LAWN DOCTOR for a few years prior and I thought I would give this other company a try as their product made sense. Last spring I met with Tony and rehired LAWN DOCTOR.
