Total waste of money. I've been with them for around a year now, had my yard aerated and overseeded twice by them along with all the other services. Even had Susan their manager come out and do a walk through with me (which she is very nice and tries to make it right. Can't fault her there). Have been told to seed myself and all kinds of other things to do (why hire them if they are gonna give me a list of things to do?). Overall have seen little to no growth in this time. Still have HUGE bald spots all over my yard and all they offer is "we'll send a specialist out" which still gets no results. Also, to really add fuel to the fire had a yard treatment appointment this week, the guy shows up, DOESNT service my yard because my gates were locked and still puts the service yard Orange sign in my yard and leaves me a bill ‍, I mean c'mon. It makes me question the integrity of the company and how many times this truly happens not only to me but other customers. So disappointing and wish I had not wasted my money on this for so long. My lawn was once beautiful. In fact, for 22 years it was the most beautiful lawn on the street. Nothing fancy... just well maintained and always green. I even maintained a green lawn, in front of the house, during the drought of 2012, the extreme heat of 2013 and my lawn survived the brutal temperatures and 4.5 feet of snow in 2014. It has not survived Lawn Pride. I stopped the service after a few brown patched appeared toward the end of summer 2017. I should have stuck with my decision. Instead, believing them when they said they would strive to make my lawn as green and lush as it once was, I allowed them to resume "treating" my lawn this year. My lawn is now an embarrassment. It pains me to look outside... even on the most beautiful day. Lawns from one end of my street to the other, while weedy, are a beautiful green in August. Mine is the only lawn riddled with fungus... the only lawn treated by Lawn Pride. I was told a manager would visit... a week ago. I've been charged $218.00 for a 2 part fungus treatment and there has been no change. The healthiest thing in my lawn is crabgrass. Supposedly, they treated for it as well. A Lawn Pride pickup passed by my home 3 days ago. It went down to the culdesac, turned around, and passed by again all in the same minute. Perhaps that was the manager's visit. I was once proud of my lawn. Now it brings me nothing but sadness and shame. It will be a lot of work, but I hope to restore it to its original beauty. I hope Lawn Pride will step up and do the right thing and that my review will not receive a canned response from Susan McIntosh. I canceled my service today due to cost and there being no noticeable improvement of my lawn. It's looked better previous years without their treatments. This spring I had the most weeds in my front yard than ever. Yesterday the employee who came out drove the machine so close to my fence that it scratched and rubbed off stain on many of the bottom planks. It also pushed an entire panel out of alignment which I had to push back in myself. They only send notifications that they will be at your home the next day by email which just seems very outdated and the emails are easy to miss. Overall I'm very disappointed, especially with them damaging my property. read more

Just had our lawn aerated and our fiber optic line was cut. Now we have no internet for at least two days. Called Lawn Pride to let them know what happened. The customer service was horrendous. Basically was told it wasn't their fault (yes it is), why are you calling us (to let you know your company was negligent), call the cable company (obviously we did), nothing we can do (maybe not be negligent in the future?) We had received an email stating the aeration was scheduled and 811 had been contacted to mark. That never happened. So if you are aware that you don't know where the utilities are why do you go ahead with the aeration? Needless to say we canceled our service. This is all on top of the fact that the service hasn't gotten rid of any weeds in our yard. It looks no better after over a year than when they started. read more

I'm a huge Lawn Pride fan. I've had a number of lawn services over the years and none of them have been as good as Lawn Pride. First of all if you want a green lawn, it's about as green as it gets. I find that I actually don't have to water all that often and the yard looks great. I buy their full year service including the aeration and over seeding. They make multiple passes on their aeration service unlike other companies where it's hard to tell if they actually did it. Got a question on your lawn, they are always ready to help and have plenty of tips and tricks. As for weeds, they do a great job of cleaning them up and helping me understand what kinds of weeds they are. As for "how long will it take to get a good looking yard?" It really depends on where you start. This is probably my 3rd or 4th season with them. When we started, my yard wasn't in the best shape and drought would just about kill it. First year, the yard looked better, didn't seem to wither away and still had a few weeds every now and then. 2nd year, after over seeding, I could definitely see a difference and the grass started to really green up. This year, nice dark and green. The seed that they use is amazing and the lawn looks great. I mow it on the highest setting and have no issues with brown spots or anything. Most importantly, the wife loves it as well. Super happy and would recommend them to anyone. It takes a couple of seasons to get a yard in shape so give them a chance and don't be a skeptic after just one or two applications. read more

Poor service, although they did pay me back for the terrible Aeration service, I paid all year for their services and my yard looks exactly the same as before they started. The ONLY thing they took care of was the dandelions. They had to come back and redo several treatments because it wasn't done right the first time. I can do that myself ALOT cheaper!!!Other than that my yard hasn't changed. I'm saving my money and doing it my self. They also call you frequently wanting you to buy more services and treatments, this is on going and annoying. A Vice President contacted me right away after my review, committee to fixing the problem. I genuinely wish the rest of her staff had the same integrity. She pointed out the treatment I received would never come out of a bag, and requested to see the video footage of the visit. She also fully refunded for the treatment. Above and beyond. I am still removing one star, because although this employee was excellent, there are clearly some underlying problems that need to be addressed. OLD REVIEW: You will read lots of reviews on here that mention Lawn Pride performing treatments not requested, refusing to give refunds, and other shady customer service practices. From my perspective, they are all right. Lawn Pride had been treated my lawn for a few months when their technician came out for treatment. The thing about ring security cameras? I can see exactly what your technicians are doing. I watched him stand in my yard a while, walking a few steps and throwing out something from a small bag in his hand. That was it. Literally. He came no where close to looking at the whole yard, much less treating it. Then he went and sat in his truck for a while (7-10 minutes) before putting an invoice on my porch. Despite this, I was charged $120 for full fertilization plus grub prevention. After MANY calls, I finally got a call back to a manager who essentially tried to claim that because my yard was small, standing for 2 minutes with a handheld bag is sufficient for $120 of work. I explained how that was ridiculous, and he made an offer to send out a manager to see if the job had been done. Unsurprisingly, days turned into a week and no one came. After calling several times AGAIN, someone came out and applied a treatment. The thing is? The explanatory receipt listing treatment for the day had ZERO reference of grub prevention. So, my $80 is down the toilet. When emailed about this, the manager said that the grub prevention had been done before the technician left. Okay. Let's look at this. You're working with an upset customer who believes she is being cheated. Why would you NOT explicitly describe in the summary what had been done so as to avoid the confusion? What's more likely? They didn't do the treatment but don't really feel like fixing the issue because they know they have lost a customer. I have contacted this manager 10 times since by phone and email to clarify the problem, and I have heard nothing. Believe the bad reviews--seriously. And if you have a ring system? I would recommend watching when they claim to do service, because at least one of their technicians, and 1 of their managers is super lazy. read more

We moved into a new construction house in December and only had the front yard sodded. The sides and back mostly had weeds as the builder's seeding wasn't great. Lawn Pride started treating in the fall and they have done a great job of starting to get the yard on track to looking good. read more

I have been using Lawn Pride for few years and yes these guys are terrible. My grass looks like crap and has never looked good. I repeatedly asked to have a manager meet me to walk my lawn and it never happened. They have a practice of calling to up sell for more expensive treatments that were of little to no value to my lawn. They seem to treat without paying any attention to what the lawn needed. I have had a fungus several times that was evident to me and should have been to them, but there was no mention until I mentioned it. The final straw was getting a bill from a collection agency after they had cashed the check. I will be canceling them Monday morning. I am sure there will be the pat response from them, but truly they do not care about service only about getting paid and doing as many treatments as possible at the highest price. read more

Recommend if you don't want a fully organic program. I used them at a previous house where they restored a truly disastrous lawn (think 80% weeds, sparse electric green grass) to full health - a complete rehaul. Used them at a current house where they helped maintain an already solid lawn. Rich (my rep) has always been great with information / communication and I'd highly recommend him. I don't think you'll find a more reasonable price for lawn care in Indy either ... ... but, they lose a star for not offering a full organic fertilizer program. I know you can do it, Lawn Pride! Just offer it to those of us who want it and charge some extra money for it. Until you do, I have to give my business to a different company despite really liking your work. read more

Destroyed my lawn. I had worked on my lawn and got it looking pretty good. I thought a paid service would take it over the top. Now my lawn is dead and the bare spots left behind have filled with weeds and I get to start all over again. Lawn pride repeatedly treated my lawn in a drought completely burning out the grass. I would even call them telling them not to come and they still came out. One time I had a family bbq scheduled when I got their message for application. I immediately called and told them I needed to reschedule. 1 hr before the cookout they were there. Couldn't let kids out on a freshly sprayed lawn and ruined the night. I will not use Lawn Pride any longer nor will I recommend them. My lawn has persistently had problems with Brown Spots and Grub which I hired a professional lawn service to manage. They give excuses rather than being responsible for actively identifying, treating and resolving both the immediate issue and most importantly the resulting damage in lawns. read more

Honestly, I believe most lawn care applications are the same. So as long as the company applies it, then it will do a good job of killing weeds. The difference comes in with the price of the application and the customer service the company offers. I have been with Lawn Pride for 3 or 4 years now. And for that time, I have had them apply weed killer to only my front yard, not my backyard. The front yard has been completely weed free that entire time. Occasionally you'll get a random weed on the very edge of the property, but I could count them on one hand, and it's always just an edge issue. I am not kidding when I say that I have never had a weed in the middle of where they apply their coverage. And just to compare, my backyard is in a weedy free-for-all. TONS of dandelions, clover, and whatever else. Frankly, it's gross. But I was being cheap, and wanted to save some money, so I told Lawn Pride to not cover it. But it gave me a daily reminder of what a good job they were doing with the front yard. But that's what I'm paying them for, right? So with cost: They are within the standard range for pricing when it comes to their expenses. You can modify your application number, and when you want them to apply it. I'm on 3/4 of an acre, and it will cost me $111 next year for the whole plot (I just added coverage to my back yard). I feel like it's a little high, but for the service, and peace of mind, I'll pay it. They offer a ton of optional services. I will probably never use them, but it's nice to know they are available. Service has been good. Two years ago, the technician came to my door and introduced himself to me. That has never happened before, and it honestly felt nice. He was a very nice personable young man, and it helped knowing a person I have met is looking after my yard. They always place a sign in the yard to let you know when they were there, and they always place a door hanger listing the services they performed that day, plus do a follow up email with the same services. Only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because I feel like it could be a bit cheaper, but I'm also very ignorant when it comes to this stuff and could be completely wrong. read more
