My experience with Lawn Pride as been Great! My lawn has never looked better. There customer service has been amazing. I love that my lawn tech leaves notes for me. And they provide call ahead service to let me know when they will be out next to service my lawn. It's funny how happy I am to come home and see that little orange sign in my yard letting me know they have been there. Furthermore I irritates me to see all of those reviews that get classifies as "not recommended" and you aren't able to like or recommend those reviews. All reviews should be treated equally. I have cancelled my service recently. The main reasons: (1) They decided to aerate and over seed during a very dry time. The aeration did not pull the soil out in multiple areas while also missing several locations. The seed put down also did not grow in those areas even with considerable watering. (2) During the summer I called about some of my grass browning. In previous years I have not had an issue with this location. A manager came out and told me that the type of grass that was browning usually does that in the summer and would come back in the fall. That area no longer has any grass. My thought was that some of the yard had been over-fertilized. Some positives - Generally they came out and fertilized the entire yard in a reasonable time every month. They also offered to fix the aeration and over seeding issues. At this point though, I felt like these issues were just going to repeat themselves if I kept with their service, so I decided to cancel. read more

Lawn Pride provides both excellent lawn and pest treatment at an economical rate and with that I am getting ready to sign up for my 10th lawn and 3rd pest season. Even during the years where the seasons were harsh and it was a struggle to maintain a weed free, dark green lush lawn, Lawn Pride's customer service went out of their way to solve any issues that appeared, in order to maintain my satisfaction, including return visits. Tim Lunsford, their Sales Manager has taken the time every season to follow up with me to make adjustments (both financially and programs) with my account to make sure as a customer I was satisfied with services received versus the money I spent. Also, their user friendly personalized on-line account that enables you to monitor treatments, provide comments and even pay or pre-pay your bill, is greatly appreciated. I did a lot of shopping around for a lawn company in the Indianapolis area before settling on Lawn Pride. Lawn Pride sold me that they would go above and beyond on customer service, and really make a difference on my lawn. Alas, they did not. Their service is turn key, they do not take the time to come out and provide consultations nor do they work with the consumer. I made it very clear we needed a reduction in weeds and a fuller greener lawn. Both a reduction in weeds in the overall treatment, and end result of new grass was what is claimed. Our lawn saw no noticeable improvement. Dissatisfied, when we went to cancel and expressed our disdain for their service - they gave my wife a free month that 'wasn't given to her in the beginning'. Checking to see if this was only a free month after we paid for another month, we were reassured this was just for being a good customer and there was no contingency of continuing business. One month later, we had a bill in our hands for another treatment - and no recollection of the conversation. Fooled us once. I really don't like having everything in writing, it gets old, you just wish a local business would stick by their word. I would caution against using their services, and the promises they make. I've been using Lawn Pride since I moved into my house over 5 years ago. I've found that any time I have even the smallest problem, they go above and beyond to resolve it. If you do the recommended number of applications, in time anybody should have the same results. They are great about accommodating me whenever I have a conflict with the application day they schedule. Even with every single yard around me full of 'yellows' (or dandelions as most people call them), I have none. My lawn is the best in the neighborhood because of Lawn Pride. That is all. read more

Service is great but everything is ala cart even with a yearly pass. Don't give them your phone number when you sign up as they will call you trying to up-sell you on everything. You can ask then not to call you but they will continue anyways. read more

I'm in Noblesville on the west side of town. We moved late last year and decided to go with a lawn service for our lawn care needs. Lawn Pride called on us and we have been rather impressed with the company as a whole. We do not have an irrigation system, but we do care for our lawn quite regularly with mowing, landscaping, etc. We just set up aeration and seeding for early fall. Many of our neighbors within our subdivision use Lawn Pride. I highly recommend them! You won't be disappointed. P.S. If one has ANY problems with the service they are just a phone call away. They'll come right back out and discuss your concerns. We ONLY had one issue, but that problem was due to the massive amount of rain we've had in Indiana this year. read more

My lawn is great and they do it for a fraction of what it would cost me to do myself (taking into consideration time, chemicals etc.) I would like to offer LP a recommendation though. The phone calls to sell additional services are getting annoying. This is why I fired Trugreen and another company I can't remember right now.... The name of your company is "Lawn Pride". Please ensure your service delivery is in line with your company name. I have invested all Lawn Pride's application/services and getting good quality technicians that actually take pride (again your company name is "Lawn Pride") doesn't seem what your technicians believe in. In addition to this, your marketing team and sales staff is pushing customers to sign up for lawn aeration and your service team is significantly behind in its service delivery. Since I received a sales call to subscribe to the service it has been weeks and no one has been out to complete the aeration. At this pace it will be late fall and potentially the first frost before the aeration is complete. It's really frustrating to have to continue to wait on your service team to complete scheduled services. Not happy with Lawn Pride customer service and when calling into your service center no one seems to know anything with respect to when service will be scheduled. Why is it so hard for your team to understand this and practice good customer service? Update: It is now so cold I doubt over seeding and aerating is worth the money now. Lawn Pride is so behind and there service team is incapable of completing the job in a timely manner. With record low temperatures how will the grass germinate now? I'm waiting on a return call now from Tim the Sale Manager who I'm told is not available by the Angela the person that answered the phone. Time will only tell if and when they will be able to complete the job now. If Lawn Pride does not complete the job this week, I will cancel there service permanently! read more

We were customers of Lawn Pride for about 5 years. They provided lawn care treatments for our lawn (about 7 per year plus some additional treatments, aerating, and reseeding) which was price-based on a size that they determined to be 10,001 sq. feet. As it was explained to us by Lawn Pride, anything over 10,000 sq. feet is in a higher pricing tier and therefore the monthly cost of service would be higher. We of course agreed in good faith, believing that their determination of our lawn size was accurate and true. Recently (in Dec. 2020) we had Lawn Pride reassess the size of our lawn and it was determined that the size is only about 9830 sq. feet. They then offered to charge about $20 less per treatment going forward. We of course canceled after they had lost our trust. I find their business ethics are driven only by profit and I am livid in thinking that over the course of 5 years I was overcharged $20.00 per service at 7 treatments per year. I'm sure that I have very little recourse to recoup any losses, but I feel that some light should be shed on their business practices. Based on their deceit, I cannot recommend their services to anyone. read more

My concern is their grub control. Doesn't seem to work. I watered it in as directed after application and still have grubs. I pointed this out a little over a month after application that I had grubs and the manager came back out and said it was lawn stress - even though I dug up grubs in the yard. During The recent visit, after another call, he said he noticed grubs and made an application. Too late, having to dig up several spots and reseed. Not sure why the company is reluctant to attack problem when first pointed. read more

I've been in the lawn care industry for over 30 years and have used all of the big guys and done it myself. We built our house 17 years ago and the lawn has NEVER looked better. The service is outstanding. I had a couple of issues with weeds and brown spots and they were resolved immediately. I have small dogs and want to be called prior to their visit and this has never been a problem as was the case with other companies. Fair price for a great lawn. read more

We have used Lawn Pride for a little over a year; Our yard looks tremendous and everyone I've had contact with from Office staff to my lawn technician has been great. they say the grass is greener on the other side, so i checked my neighbors yard and it was looking great. i gave lawn pride a call and signed up for their services. these guys know their job well and are always on time for the grass treatments. they check the weather beforehand so no worries about rain washing away the fertilizer. It's been 4 years since I signed up and am happy with their service. read more

Most of my subdivision uses Lawn Pride. I started with a different company and made the switch after i didnt see a lot of results. My yard now looks phenomenal. Their prices are the best ive found in Indianapolis. While we are only in year one, its been an overall great experience thus far and i would definitely recommend them. read more

I was a customer for several years. Yes, their sales calls are annoying... Their lawn treatment program seems decent and my lawn has improved. Unfortunately, this spring they mistakenly applied a pre-emergent treatment I specifically told them I didn't want but they wanted to charge me anyway, After posting a 2-star review this morning I received a call from the VP of LP who apologized, made me feel that they cared (and it seems they do), and they made it right. So, at this point, I'm back to being an LP customer and am hopeful that they will listen to their customers a little more carefully in the future. if more companies, and maybe political figures, would be willing to do this, the world would be a better place read more

Used Lawn pride in 2017 was not impressed. 2018 they show on there own to treat my yard without asking then send me a bill. I called lawn pride and let them know I did not order this service not to just show. I did pay and them not to do this again on there recorded phone call. So since i was pretty much forced to use them again. All I have is dead patches everywhere yards looks the worst it has ever. Now 2019 lawn pride comes back to my house without talking to me messes yard up. Sends me a bill for something i didn't request again. Not only did they send me a bill they sent me to a collection company. I really hope this does not affect my credit as we we have problems. As i was on a recorded call and told them not to do this. They know we have dogs and could care less as they leave gates open every time. read more

We weren't exactly thrilled with our previous service, and after several recommendations from our neighbors, switched to Lawn Pride. We couldn't be happier! After only two treatments, our lawn looks healthier than it ever did with our previous company! We absolutely love the Service Records they give us with each treatment. They include both general information and suggestions as well as notes and suggestions specific to our lawn. The technicians are always friendly and helpful! The only reason I'm not giving them five stars is because I too would like to see an organic treatment option, especially as an owner of three dogs. read more

I have Lawn Pride and have been extremely happy with the results. My lawn is super green and the weeds are all but gone. I had several different types of weeds in my lawn that my technician was great at telling me what they wear, how to get rid of them, and how to prevent from coming back in the future. I get 5 treatments a year which has really helped my lawn turn around. Would highly recommend. I'm also a big fan of using a company that is local and in my community! read more

didnt read the reviews after all how hard is it to thrown down some fertilizer grass seed and weed inhibitor well for this company its totally confounding..they guaranteed that they would plant two different grass seeds in my two completely different lawn didnt happen when i complained that the weeds werent dying they came out and killed the entire yard grass and all managers will not call back basically they are good at billing and little else read more

After reading the reviews I can say I haven't had an experience that bad. I purchased my last home which was a green home and the builder didn't put any effort into the lawn but I bought the home anyway. Lawn Pride helped to establish a nice green, weed-less lawn over 1 1/2yrs. or so which I was satisfied with. I purchased a new home last December where the lawn was not the greatest ( bare spots, weeds etc.) and transferred my service. Lawn Pride came out early spring to start treatments and my lawn looks a whole lot better. I also like how the technician uses a riding spreader compared to another company my neighbor has who uses a sprayer type application while they walk the yard. I just had aeration and seeding done today and Randon Reynolds the technician was very pleasant and thorough with his work. The only issue I had with them was scheduling the aeration. With the weird weather we've had in the last couple months, no one told me that would cause an issue. Every time I called to inquire when they were coming out, I kept getting the run around in my opinion. I finally spoke with the manager 2 weeks ago and expressed my concern. She told me with all of the rain we were having, they didn't want to perform the service and cause damage to my yard from the equipment. Also, this set back is causing a backlog with appointments and they are doing their best to accommodate the customers. I told her thanks for taking the time to explain and if the staff would have said that, I would have been satisfied. Overall, I'll continue using them and any issues I may have I'll address immediately. read more
