I had never gotten either of these services before so I had a lot of questions which Kayla answered patiently and personably. She has such a friendly and bubbly personality! The eyelash tint was a little uncomfortable for me but this may be because I was wearing contacts. I probably would take those out next time and maybe even consider a lift and tint since the tint by itself looked nice but was really subtle. Kayla made me feel very comfortable for the spray tan and did an excellent job with the color and tone. I was obsessed! It definitely faded a bit after the third or fourth day but to be fair, I was on vacation and swimming in the ocean and pool a lot. All together the services were $65 which I don't think is bad at all. I'd definitely return and would recommend booking at this local biz!

In addition to keeping my brows looking incredible, I've expanded into getting my lashes lifted and tinted, as well as a facial with dermaplaning. The services never feel rushed, and everything is explained in detail so you know what's happening before, during and after. Everyone that works here is so friendly and welcoming, and they all do excellent work. The space is clean and inviting, and you can book your appointments online, over the phone, or at the desk while you're there.

When coming into the establishment, I was given a form to complete which addressed very important questions that I believe is beneficial to the services provided. Though I received a simple service, I was able to speak with Bianca regarding her other services. Bianca talked to me for about 20 minutes after without rushing me. Bianca is very realistic. She give me clear and detailed information about her services and what the process would look like. The best thing that I saw and that was further explained was the 6 different types of waxes in the studio to fit different hair textures and skin types (I was used to seeing one hard wax and one soft wax-in other salons). She was able to address my concerns from previous experiences-other salons- and why some issues may have arisen and how and what could be done to avoid it going forward. Information was given to me to prepare for the next service of a Brazilian wax, during my underarm service. I went back and forth because based on my prior experiences-other salons- my skin felt raw and very painful from misapplication and removal of the wax. My pain tolerance is low, extremely low. I like that she went very quickly yet EFFECTIVELY, and I did not feel any of raw sensations or irritation on my skin afterwards with Bianca. The Brazilian service was clean, clear, and to the point. I was told what was happening and why something may have needed more attention-if it did. And of course I received before and after care instructions. I am a perfectionist. I get antsy with the idea germs-germaphobe lol, but sanitation was 100 percent and that is great because I'm very particular. I ask a lot of question but, Bianca is very professional, very knowledgeable, very friendly, very patient, very affordable, very clean, very precise, and very transparent. I had hair removal services before but this experience was beyond amazing. I appreciate this totally new and excellent experience with Bianca. In my eyes, her service are perfect and I have no complaints whatsoever! Every thing, from beginning to end was to a T. I let her know what I wanted and she executed it without me having to point out anything or ask for something to be fixed. I will definitely be going back to get more services. I will recommend her going forward at anytime somebody asks.

My first time, Candis did an excellent job with my lash extensions! It took a bit over the recommended time (closer to 2.5 hours instead of 1.5) and my eyes were a bit irritated the next day, but nothing a few drops of Visine couldn't fix. I loved the final product and they lasted close to 3.5 weeks! I was also happy that she answered all of my questions and even gave me 4 lash brushes because I told her I was traveling and she didn't want me to lose them. The second time, I had Roxie do my lashes. I was a bit nervous to have someone different doing them, but my girl SLAYED it! It took less than an hour and a half, my eyes weren't irritated at all, and they look BOMB. I cannot tell you how many compliments I've gotten on my lashes. Also, the studio is extremely clean, both Candis and Roxie play great music while they work, and they are so nice and easy to talk to. One recommendation, save their phone numbers because each time I've come to the studio the door has been locked. Just give a quick call and they'll come let you in! For the price and quality, these ladies cannot be beat.

Love this place!!! How fun to have it in Roland Park!! They had room for me without a reservation at 11 am, and My pedicure took exactly one hour. My horrible summer gardening feet look so much better! The nail technician was thorough but gentle and I was never worried she would cut me. AND they use stainless steel bowls they fill at a sink!!! So much harder for the nail technicians, but so much safer for the clients! (Those seats with integrated foot baths are so nice for the whirlpool jets but contain a minor risk of bacteria in the pipes. Very minor, but still I looooved the old time stainless steel bowl system!) $37 plus $10 tip (cause my feet were truly gross). Clean, pretty place with quiet classical music. Sooooo nice. read more

I had a pedicure here last month and the whole experience was excellent. This relaxing mini-spa is a far cry from the strip-mall mani-pedi places where you feel like you are intruding on the employees' cell-phone time. The pedicure was well done, no nics or trauma, and the woman doing it was focused solely (!) on me the entire hour. No TV, instead a nice New Agey-tape playing and some interesting magazines. And the chairs for pedicures are so comfortable you may just want to go there to sit! I will certainly go back. read more

Took six middle school girls for a birthday manicure/pedicure today. I was so impressed--the staff were welcoming, accommodating, and friendly. The service was high quality, and the space was relaxing, organized, and clean. I believe they just opened in early May, and I would definitely go back. They use large bowls filled with hot water and lemon slices as a foot soak. Mani-pedi treatment was reasonable at $36 with 10% off this for first-time service. read more

Then while doing my nails, he told me that I probably chipped them from opening soda cans. I was like huh ?? First, I don't drink soda, and second gel nails should be strong enough to open a soda can with lol but whatever. Then he told me that because it's so cold out it takes the gel longer to cure so I need to wait a couple days before opening soda cans (?!??) what's up with this guys soda can obsession? Anyway I tell him again that I don't drink soda but okay sure. He does my nails, they're fine, I go to leave and he charges me $27 for the soak off. Like wtf?????????? But I don't feel like arguing so I just did it and left. I kid you not 3 days later like half of my nails have chipped or peeled off already. Literally a waste of $160 and 3 hours of my time.

I explained what I wanted done and confirmed I'll be able to get it. I was reassured. About seven minutes after coming off the phone, they rang and asked if I could come in for 6pm instead. I told them that would be difficult as I had just made another appointment for a pedi at 6pm. I said I would get there as soon as I finished and asked if that was okay. They said it was. I went to my other appointment earlier and was seen to immediately so I was able to get to Harbor Nails at 6:15. When I walked in and I gave my name the lady looked at me like I had fangs coming out of my mouth. I repeated my name and my appointment time 7pm but that I was asked to come in earlier. She still looked clueless. She started scrolling through her phone. After a minute of me just standing there I asked if there was a problem. She said she won't be able to do my nails today. I responded rather stoically, "you called and asked me to come in earlier, I changed things around and now you're saying my appointment is cancelled?" She just looked at me. I showed her my call log asking "is this your number?" She said yes. "Well that's the number that rang and requested that I get here as soon as I could." She kept staring at me. I tried again, "so you won't be able to see me for my APPOINTMENT TODAY?" She said no. I replied "okay thank you" and I turned and started walking out. I left the shop and walked across the street to the plaza searching my phone for another spot when I found INSPIRE NAILS in the same plaza I was at! Under new management with a shop as dazzling as they are nice. I was happy! As I was leaving inspire with my nails looking all pretty and crisp, I had my Pretty Woman Moment. I held my hand up to HARBOUR NAILS and said "BIG MISTAKE, HUGE". (I play way too much) Mike at the brand new INSPIRE NAILS is now MY NAIL GUY!
