I'll admit I was a bit hesitant at first after reading some of the mixed reviews, but I decided to take a chance, and Alvin did not disappoint. From the start, the communication was excellent. Alvin responded promptly to my messages on the Nextdoor app and patiently answered all of my questions. The team arrived right on time, assessed the job, and developed a clear plan before beginning the work. They were professional, respectful, and thorough throughout the entire process. In addition to removing the large tree, they were kind enough to trim another tree for me at no extra cost. They'll also be returning to grind the stump and make it as flat as possible to the ground. The quality of their work was so impressive that several of my neighbors have already reached out to them for tree services. Alvin in particular is courteous, knowledgeable, and truly takes pride in his work. If you're looking for tree removal or landscaping services, I highly recommend giving this company a chance. So grateful for elvin! (owner) He was able to squeeze me in, because a storm occurred where a tree fell over on my fence.. ( Elvin ) was the only company willing to squeeze me in at such an affordable price. Elvin does exceptional work!! First not only did he remove the large tree that fell on my fence but he also fixed the back side of my fencing... when arriving there was a massive puddle in the back of my yard, and immediately Elvin knew the solution for future storms to avoid it from flooding, he went above and beyond and stood til almost 11pm removing the huge tree, fixing the fencing and also doing a French drainage... the next day Elvin was really prompt on timing and he was communicative with me through out the entire process. Great! Great ! Great ! Quality of work amazing! And worth every dollar, Elvin is my provider and he values his work ethics, he doesn't come out when it rains to avoid damaging grass! I requested edging , plant install as well and weekly lawn mowing, he uses a system which promps you, that he will be there that day and he is very communicative! He also makes sure that you know as long as your on schedule no matter the time, he will be there, the system generally gives just estimates.... Elvin when he comes out each time he makes sure that his crew picks up all grass clippings and leaves nothing behind. Before leaving he always makes sure to walk the property with me to assure that everything is of high quality and correctly done. I also hired Elvin for a vinyl fence and he did an amazing job! I don't really use yelp, I found Elvin because he was recommended to me on another platform, and I do have to say ... it's good to find someone who loves what they do, and Elvin absolutely loves what he does, i reached out to Elvin for weeding.. Let's just say, my property was a MESS! Elvin created a blue print, & plan & he then executed that plan. It was almost in the 91* degrees outside and I figured because there was a heat advisory, maybe he would plan for another day, but no. Elvin came out prepared and ready to commit to giving me the yard I wanted, Elvin took his time and in two days, I had the fence I always needed (I am enjoying the privacy) and the yarding that he did was just amazing. I had a very disappointing experience with Lawns By Us. Their service was consistently subpar and unprofessional, leaving me frustrated. They frequently missed scheduled appointments without any prior notice, making it impossible to rely on them for regular lawn maintenance. When they did show up, the work was rushed and incomplete--grass clippings were left scattered, and they missed spots that were obvious even to an untrained eye. Communication was another major issue. Calls and emails often went unanswered, and when I did reach someone, the staff was dismissive and unhelpful and downright rude. On one occasion, they damaged a part of my property and failed to acknowledge or address it, which is completely unacceptable. Their lack of accountability and professionalism made it clear they don't value their customers. I would not recommend Lawns By Us to anyone. read more

We had our fence installed in a day by Elvin and crew. The crew arrived on time, and they got to work. It was cold. They worked into the dark. It's December, and we had a small window to build the fence. We had been talking about it, but weather wouldn't cooperate. We appreciated that he found the time and got it done. The fence was one of the big projects we had when we moved in the spring. When we'd have strong winds, we would be worried that it would be the time the fence would fall. It fortunately didn't, but we knew we couldn't put it off much longer. It looks great. We're happy with the result. Just a couple of days after it was installed, we had a day of strong wind with some snow. It was great to not have to worry anymore. The crew was professional. They were passionate about it. By far one of the most genuine crew I have ever dealt with, Elvin & his crew are amazing. They are very passionate about the work they do. Elvin is the owner, he is very communicative through out the entire process, he makes sure that the crew and the work is in tact, he made sure through out the project that I was satisfied, he also gave me the option to change anything, he did amazing pavers and fencing at my property. The crew also installed sod and took care of grub control and they weeded my entire property which I own .25 of an acre, thank you guys for such hard work! Alvin is one of the most unprofessional people I have ever hired to do a project. I highly recommend that you do NOT use them for your services, he is rude, condescending and very unprofessional! The minute we indicated that something was not up to our standards he got extremely upset about it that they had to redo the work, he said he did not like people that complain about stuff and advised us that he refused to continue doing business with us.
