Had my Covid19 vaccination here and I could not say enough how good they were. When I scheduled my…read morevaccinations, they were the only one that had openings near me. When I scheduled, I was out a couple of weeks. I went to the clinic before my scheduled date and they had a cancellation, and took me. When I scheduled by second shot, it was out a few extra weeks. I gave the person at the front desk, my name and telephone number to call if an opening occurred. I got the call to come right now and got my second shot. The place was organized and I felt safe. The staff was friendly and I did not feel rushed. They had plenty of free off street parking in front of the building . If I have to get any additional shots in the future, this is where I plan to go.

First, let me say, I love Dr. Valerie Small & the NP Megin Iaccarino (who just left for another…read morejob) & A place has to be truly horrible for me to give a bad review.... that being said... After 8yrs I can no longer tolerate how the office functions (or doesn't). Appointment times are chronically late, office staff does not call in medications or handle calls in a timely manor. I've had blood tests that weren't called when I've gotten to the lab & am constantly having to follow up with them to do their job. If I ran my business like this I'd be out of work. Just as the pandemic was starting (Yale had already implemented their curb side wait appointment rules) Middlesex just plowed ahead & was not pro-active at all regarding new procedures. I HAD to go to my appointment or my meds wouldn't be refilled... one of the office staff was making copies while I was checking in coughing all over everything. I've LITERALLY been on hold with them for 27+ minutes... would LOVE to have my request processed via MyChart, however, 5 -6 months out with that software & they STILL can't process refill requests (see photo of my request going unanswered for 10 days). I was dressed down from Dr. Shane Ridge, as he quibbed "We don't do same day refills" -- dude.... I can send you a screen shot right now of all my calls to your office on my iPhone log.... give me a break! I've taken the 'feedback' requests but nothing ever changes. I've had breast cancer, I have Crohn's disease & my health care is important. I will sadly be leaving this practice & will miss Dr. Small & her great advice :(

He explains in detail the treatment he is using, and with each visit, he discusses your progress. He explains the exercises you are to do at home, and has you practice them at the conclusion of each visit. He is the ultimate professional in his demeanor and his physical therapy expertise. Additionally, he has a warm, kind, and engaging personality, which creates a very comfortable environment. Lorry is an additional asset to the practice. She is pleasant, professional, and funny. She, too contributes to the congenial environment at the practice. I have thoroughly enjoyed my conversations with her during my 7 weeks at Select Physical Therapy.
