A Friday night before Christmas weekend, I figured I'd be celebrating the holiday without a chunk of my bottom front tooth. I reached Antionette at the front desk of this office roughly 30 minutes before they were to close. I had never been to Port Washington Dental, had never spoken to Antionette, and still couldn't pick her out in a lineup. That said, she went out of her way to help a stranger, calling me back after fifteen minutes of scrambling to say that she and the dental team at Port Washington were willing to OPEN THE OFFICE ON THE MORNING OF CHRISTMAS EVE in order to help me. I am beyond humbled at the compassion of the staff and doctors at this practice, even though I am neither a regular patient nor from the area. Thank you, Port Washington Dental, for being willing to save Christmas for a stranger.

Dr. Roxene Gascoigne was absolutely amazing. She took the time to listen to my concerns and carefully reviewed my case using her state-of-the-art radiology equipment. To my absolute relief, she discovered that what looked suspicious on earlier images wasn't an infection or a failed root canal at all -- it was simply new bone growth! I was beyond grateful for her honesty, expertise, and conservative approach. Instead of jumping straight to an unnecessary procedure, she gave me peace of mind and a clear understanding of what was really going on. Mindy, the receptionist was beyond condescending and made it as difficult as possible to get an appointment. I decided to call a family member who is a dentist and he advised me NOT to use Dr Levy but when I asked to retrieve my appliance ( having never been to the office) Mindy told me she was charging $1700. Anyway Dr Levy was equally unprofessional and testy so BEWARE!! There are many good dentists in the area. I highly recommend Howard Golan if you need someone but stay away from here And Mindy please get some professional help!

I called Dr. Levy's office on Tuesday and asked what the likelihood of me getting a 7pm appointment for Wednesday would be. The office staff was able to schedule me with no problems and when I called back on Wednesday and asked about moving the appointment up, they were able to accommodate that as well! Upon arrival at the office, the office staff was kind and spent time talking with me about what brought me to Long Island. Dr. Levy was beyond great, explaining replacing the crown would be a bit costly so he placed a temporary filling on it and sent me back to Detroit where I can use my insurance. He very well could have done it and charged me out of pocket but he looked out for the patient which I wholeheartedly appreciate. The entire office has a great bedside manner, you would be lucky to have a dental office this kind and compassionate!
