This is going to make me sound like a lunatic, but I ALMOST enjoy my visits to the gyno since Dr. Mercado became my doctor. She is absolutely phenomenal... she always has time to talk, listens to all of my concerns (whether they are realistic or not), provides me with literature so I can make the best decisions for my personal health, and is just a genuinely warm and funny person. She is also one of the growing number of OBGYNs who will agree to the IUD for single women without children, which is awesome. If a little Emily P. ever comes into the world, Dr. Mercado would be my number one choice for an obstetrician. The facility is really nice, located inside the Lawrence Memorial Hospital. Parking is always abundant in the lot outside, and I believe they have valet for expectant mothers. The support staff is wonderful as well. read more

I went to go see Emily fox for help in finding out why I was having trouble getting pregnant. So they ran some blood work it took a month to get some of my results back and when they called me and told me that everything was fine I asked them what our next step was and the nurse told me she would need to speak to Emily but all I needed to do was have intercourse and I would get pregnant. I kind of took that as a slap in the face. And now it's been almost 2 months later and I still have not heard anything from them I'm still not pregnant. I would not waste my time or money there at least with this particular doctor and nurses. read more

My daughter recently gave birth to a healthy baby girl, and her midwife and team of nurses were simply outstanding. Due to Pam's efforts, a C-section was averted. The only negative was the limited contact with a different midwife, Laura, who seemed unnecessarily abrupt and made hurtful comments. read more

I just saw Dr. Emily Fox for the first time today, and I just have to say she is the best health care professional I've ever seen. She was so caring and sincerely invested in my health and wellbeing. I'm so glad I found her! read more

Dr. Moreano and his staff are exceptional. I received great pre and post-natal care. My recovery involved some complications and Dr. Moreano was attentive and thorough in developing my care plan. He exhibited an extraordinarily compassionate bedside manner and oversaw my recovery throughout the weekend visiting me often when he wasn't even on call (going so far as calling me directly from his son's soccer match). I highly recommend his practice. read more

Scary! Many people I know have had complications that had to be handled in KC. Do not recommend.

Saw Dr. Moreano for the first time, and I absolutely loved him. Had humor and made me feel at ease with my well woman visit. Definately will be going back. read more
