I loved them so much for my first baby I had to come back again with my second baby. I communicated with them via text to get an appointment in the books. I wanted their $380 package and photos with my parents and my toddler. They told me that grandparents were an additional $80 but did not mention anything extra for toddler. When we got there, I was then notified that to have my toddler + baby together that would be an additional $80. We went for it, but wish their pricing was a bit more clear upfront. Again they were great with the baby and had the baby in 3 outfits and 3 settings. The photographers were great with both my kids - keeping the big one entertained and the small one quiet. We got the digital photos back a little over a week from when we went to the studio and our prints almost a month later. The big photo print was great on canvas but the smaller photo print with frame was shoddily done without any protective covering/clear film over the photo. The photos and edits came out great but the quality of frames prints compared to my first experience was slightly disappointing. Besides that, I'd still recommend them for an affordable newborn photoshoot - just be mindful that any additional person besides the parents will be $80. read more

Honestly, this was the absolute best photography experience I have ever had! (--And that is NOT an exaggeration!) I'm a first time mom, and after doing some online research I decided to give Oh Baby Photo Studio a shot. I contacted them, I believe, back in April in hopes of scheduling a shoot for my baby boy's "Half Birthday" (six months) photos. After not getting a response after about 6 days I sent a follow up email, and literally, 5 minutes after I hit "send" I received a phone call to answer the questions I mentioned in the email and confirm the date! Note: No deposit was required and cash is preferred payment. So many photographers require a 50% more deposit up front so it was interesting to see it not be the case, but we were also thankful for that as new parents! Unfortunately, we had to switch the date twice due to unforeseen circumstances and each time Oh Baby Studio was flexible and understanding with us, which was soooo much appreciated and showed the level of compassion and professionalism. (Esp when dealing with babies/kids because, let's face it, things happen and plans change!) Fast Forward to the day of the shoot (finally!) which was this past Thursday and we were pleasantly surprised to learn that there was valet parking in the building. We were driving from the Bronx with a sleepy six month old, a smash cake, outfits and props so this was a very welcome surprise to not have to drive around in search of parking that would potentially cause us to have to trek to the studio. Also, the gentleman in the garage handling the valet was an absolute JOY, super friendly, and made our first impression just wonderful from the start! Once inside, we were greeted by Chris who was truly amazing from start to finish! I don't know if it is always the case but he was a one-man-show but absolutely wonderful with our baby boy! He asked us to sit close and directed us on what to do/etc to keep our baby boy's attention and make him smile. We had three wardrobe changes and as mentioned we brought our own clothes but there were also a plethora of them available on site to use. Additionally the sets/backgrounds were sooo cute and unique. Little chairs, beds, lights, etc the small, unique touches were just darling versus just a simple "paper" backdrop. At the end of the session Chris let us know the photos would be avail VE in 7 days (pretty fast, considering he took sooooo many!) From start to finish the experience was INCREDIBLE and honestly speaking, as long as we are living in NYC, I will never again go to a different family photographer. We made an appointment with Oh Baby studios, like two months ago, we went with out baby and our mother in law. We opted for the special package which was $380 but they wanted extra 80 for one photo for the mother in law. They didn't say anything about extra charges or anything on their website and $80 for one photo is so excessive. We were already there so whatever we paid the $80 extra. The $380 package comes with some printed frames. And it's been nearly two months, and we still haven't received the photos. They are not responsive at all, will only chat with you when you reach out. My husband and I brought our newborn for photos and we could not be any happier with the results! Our baby cried during the photo shoot but they were patient with her and even had white noise machine to help calm her. The photos came out great and fast(!!) And the cost was very reasonable. My coworker recommended this place and we are beyond grateful. We live nearby so it was easy for us to schedule around our baby. I wanted the 100 day photos because 1- I didn't get to do studio newborn photos and 2- it was important to me to get a family photo. I took a look at their samples on their site and knew how their style was ahead of time. Walking in, you'll notice the studio was clean and tidy. They helped us picked three outfits for the simple package and then they directed us on what to do. We then took individual baby photos and some family photos. If a hair was out of place, they'll say it. Our baby was so calm and the team did great in getting our baby's attention. It was fun for my husband and me and we did not feel pressured at all. We were in and out within the hour. They were ready with the digital photos within 5 days! We get a link to enter our email and we get an option to download from our email. Very impressed with how quick and easy it was. I really like our family photos! From the time we pick what we want to have in the frame (included in the simple package), it takes 10 days to be ready for pick up. We recently had another photoshoot for our one year old and it was absolutely amazing the photographer is super nice and very good with kids he is also really skilled and creative . The studio has multiple photoshoot sections all decorated sooo nicely! The photographer also prepares in advance based in the theme and type of packalge you choose which i really like. Also have a variety of costume collection for the kids. Our baby's 100 day party was coming up and we wanted to also do a 1 month photo session. After calling around and being told crazy prices ($700-2500) we were just about to give up and shoot it on our phones when we came across oh baby photo. I saw the pricing ($300), the sample, and man you wouldn't believe the quality! A quick call and our 1 month session was booked (we decided to see the quality first before confirming if we want to use them for the 100 day party). When we arrived the parking lot was crazy tight and hard to get underground. If you are a new driver or really bad with super tight spaces especially going down to and underground parking lot, I suggest you park outside and pay the meter. Also weekend the attendant don't work so you can park anywhere. As we entered the studio, we were amazed by the welcome and saw a large space with all the props to take our dream baby photo. Chris and his assistant quickly helped us and explained the overall flow. We picked 4 outfits and discusses the positions we would shoot in. Lucky our baby was totally into the session and did not make a fuss with the exception of a little spit up on the outfit (they were totally cool with it!). Usually taking baby photos are just painful in my experience. Since we had to cancel our trip to Korea - much wider and better choices when it comes to photography - we really had to make extensive research in short period of time. Originally, we were going to stick with studio we have used with our first son after making sure that owner was going to shoot this time - Our first son Logan took pictures here but it was newbie and ruined our 1st bday photo - my wife decide to do final research and had change of heart in last min Oh boy we made right choice, a couple runs this studio which has very nice and comfortable setting whom takes time and efforts with my kids. Literally, we didn't have to do anything. They will prop the each studio and all we had to do was keep changing clothes. Best part of this shoot was choosing our photos from proofs they have provided. Epic!! They touched almost all of proofs - usually most of studio just sent out raw pics - and color variance was just what we were expecting. We chose 4 different outfit and the photographer Chris picked 70 of tall he pictures . My baby was so cooperated during the whole process and did not cry at all.
