Have taken my kids here a few times over the last few years due to sports injuries, mt bike…read moreinjuries etc. The doctors there are great and I would recommend this facility if you are a local. The main reason I suggest being a local is because if you need to get ahold of anyone in the office, you'll need to just go there in person. I wouldn't suggest calling unless you have some sort of fetish of sitting on hold for eternity. Once you get there they are very helpful....... Now that you have your appointment and your ready to get seen next month, you are on your way to feeling great again. NOW... don't think for one second that you got to bypass the on hold thing just because you live in town. Once you get to your appointment next month and you have a seat in this very spacious waiting room, take a look around. You will notice there will be 1 maybe 2 people ahead of you, at this moment you think to yourself ( this will be quick) lol. This is the point where you will get to wait somewhere between 1-1 1/2 hours till someone brings you to the examination room, but don't worry the fun doesn't stop there. Once in the room you will get to wait at least another 30 to 45min. If you need to get some shopping done or feel like going to a nice sit down restaurant while you wait, just run up stairs check in and go do your thing, you will have plenty of time

Subject: Formal Complaint Regarding Unprofessional and Discriminatory Treatment…read more I am writing to formally express my concern and disappointment regarding the way I was treated during my recent visit to Elite Physical Therapy. I have been a patient of your clinic for nearly 10 years, returning as needed. Over that time, I have consistently paid for services both through insurance and out-of-pocket, including recent visits where I paid approximately $120 per session and $135 for my initial evaluation. I have always met my financial obligations. During my most recent visit, I informed your office that I would be approximately 10 minutes late. Upon arrival, I was told my session would be reduced to 15 minutes, which did not work for my schedule. Despite this, I was still willing to proceed and pay any applicable fee. I was not previously informed of any $40 late or no-show fee. However, what occurred next was completely unacceptable. The moment I entered the clinic, I was not greeted professionally or addressed by name. Instead, I was immediately confronted about payment in a loud and public manner. While standing at the front desk, a staff member stated loudly, in front of other patients, "You need to pay the $40 fee before we see you." This drew unnecessary attention and caused other patients to turn and look at me. This approach was humiliating and implied that I was unwilling or unable to pay my bill, which is entirely untrue. I have never had an issue paying for services and have consistently handled payment either before or after my visits. Being addressed in this way--publicly and without discretion--was deeply disrespectful. Additionally, as a minority, the tone and manner in which I was spoken to felt discriminatory and demeaning. It created a hostile and uncomfortable environment. No patient should feel singled out or judged in this way. I also want to share that I am currently going through an extremely difficult time, having lost my wife just two months ago. I came to your clinic seeking care and support, and instead left feeling embarrassed, disrespected, and emotionally distressed. When I raised my concern, I was told that the staff member "did not mean it that way." Respectfully, intent does not excuse the impact. The experience itself was inappropriate and unacceptable. After many years as a patient, I expected a higher level of professionalism, respect, and discretion. I respectfully request the following: * A formal acknowledgment of this incident * A clear explanation of your patient communication and payment policies * Assurance that staff are trained to address patients privately and respectfully * Clarification as to whether this reflects standard practice within your clinic I hope this matter is taken seriously so that no other patient has a similar experience. Sincerely, Seon Smith

They were honest with me about what could and what could not be done. I was impressed with the knowledge and soothed by the kindness of all three therapists. The logistics of making appointments was simple, thanks to a very competent front-desk staff. Highly recommend!

In LA, if a business doesn't have reviews, or has few reviews, it means something is wrong with…read moreit. In Tacoma, it just means a true Yelper hasn't visited yet! My fiancee is stationed at JBLM and needs to continue his PT. He called this place after finding this place through his insurance he gave them a call and interrogated them, which is his standard procedure. His first impression? The receptionist picked up and sounded confident, a plus in his books. Well the result of that call is that he became a patient! He has been here about 6 times. He comes in, signs in and doesn't even get a chance to sit down as they already call him in! The only person who is ever in the waiting room for more than 2 minutes is me! I've seen multiple different patients come in and they are all treated the same. The ladies are kind and courtesy and have a bond with each patient. They are even kind to me, offering me coffee on some days. And they spend about 1.5 hours with my fiancee, who is recovering from a rotator cuff surgery. They give him a heated massage in the beginning and towards the end make him do exercises in their exercise room, which has a couple of flat beds, weights, a lat pull down machine, stair stepper, treadmill and other equipment. They take therapy seriously! Parking is a breeze, restrooms don't need keys, scheduling is simple. I and he have no conplaints about this place. They even have a fresh newspaper and ample magazines! I truly hope more people come to this office. Be on the lookout for his review!

I have went through two extended injury rehabs and currently about half way through the third, rotator cuff surgery, with these wonderful people. I have spent a lot of time with, and gotten to know, all of the three PTs and the support staff. Every one of them actually care about my success and treat me like was the most important patient they have. Truth be told, I'm just another burned out 76 year old has been athlete who used up his body in his youth. I have no regrets, and I seriously recommend you consider these professionals for your needs! Cameron, Maria, and Brittany REALLY know their stuff. Each one has been a blessing for me.
