LAX Hookah is a such a VIBE! It's a centrally located spot, has ample parking at night, and the Lounge is huge. There's so much space for any groups coming in. The hookahs are beautiful and well made, which is the most important part of a Hookah Lounge. They have TVs all around, comfy couches, great music, and the owner is a sweetheart. Johnny was super attentive to my friend group and ensured we felt right at home. You can tell he cares about his business and the patrons he serves. I'm looking forward to our next visit and can't wait to try the food! This is my new hangout spot! read more

Came here on a recommendation and had no clue they reopened after the pandemic! I see they upgraded their decor as well but it was cozy. There is no food, I didtn ask if we can bring up anything but the owner, Johnny, was really welcoming and nice. I loveddd the quality of their hookah as well as the length it burned. My friends and i talked for over 2 hours and still were blowing smoke. The music was chill and a great place to hang out after a few night or to start your night! Stopped in last night and had a good time amongst strangers and left with a friendship status. Our host Johnny made everyone feel as if they were at home. I will definitely pass the word on this establishment. This was a great experience for me and the flavors were off the chain. Atmosphere was laid back, and comfortable. Great place with a nice interior and friendly staff. Went on a Friday night and there was a $20 cover charge per person... For a hookah bar? Reluctantly paid this. Then $45 (including tax) for the LAX mix hookah. Total for two was $85 with no drinks -- steep pricing ! Clean interior, nice couches and the hookah was good. LAX Hookah Lounge super low key after hours spot just like the way it should be. The service her is attentive and on point, the hospitality is unmatched, and the vibes super chill. Relaxing environment to have hookah and enjoy some music and tasty beverages. Theres snacks to enjoy as well. Def good for groups but can also be enjoyed as a solo traveler as well. The music here is great! They usually have a Cali music vibe until the DJ gets started. The hookah is good but the drinks are small, overpriced and possibly watered down; my shot did not taste like Don Julio. Update**** I've been here probably 10 more times since original review!! When I say family owned I mean!! MRS. Nancy is great!! I don't know what I order but it's 5 different mixes!! My Favorite 'after club go to'!!! Especially since they close at 4am!!! I've been here a few times now.... Laid back Service... the guy who manages it, chill guy, Johnny... I've usually been on weekdays... They have YouTube fails on the TVs which is always funny... or Music Videos... They recently added airplane seats in the back which was a nice touch-- seeing as their near the airport... Nice family owned business, I'm sure to return! read more

I love this lounge so much, unfortunately they don't have any food but their atmosphere is so relaxed and amazing vibes every time I go there. They have great service for being a hookah lounge and I never really have to ask for coals or help they are proactively checking to make sure I'm good. On a recent trip my bestie and I were up at midnight with little to do. It was a very nice vibe. It was my first experience in a hookah lounge in LA. The seats were a bit tattered. There was an ENTRANCE FEE of $20 because there was a birthday party that had all of 6 people in attendance. Seemed like a scam. There was a dj. He's was okay. The alcohol was $20/shot for premium liquor. The hookah its self was $45 for the base price and there were up charges for premium flavors. There is one restroom straight to the back next to the kitchen/liquor counter. So 2 hours in a hookah lounge and I spent a good $100 I only had one shot as well as my companion. If you're drunk with nowhere to go and something in your account. I'd suggest you take a trip. It's okay for what it's worth. read more

SCAM! STAY AWAY!!! This place is a complete scammmmm. Went there to find a nicer crowd and was initially told 30 each to get in... Then after I security agent "spoke" to the manager, he comes back at 20 a person. While I was waiting I asked the other security guy how was the crowd inside and he said "oh its great. At the entrance here there aren't many, but lots of folks in the back". Get in and its DEAD,. No men around ... Just a few sets of girl groups. By few I mean 3. Then the alcohol was overpriced! As I was leaving (got there at 1:10, left by 2) , and waiting on my Uber the security guys where giving the EXACT same entrance scam to a new set of women. Horrible! read more

Come here if you want to leave with coal burns and glass cuts because security is non existent here. Some women broke out into a fight and security did nothing, my hookah was knocked on top of me and gave me several burns on my arms and legs. I also sliced my feet because hookahs were broken everywhere and we were trying to run out because someone was threatening to let off a gun. Nobody was patted down upon entry and clearly they don't care about the safety of their customers. Thanking God I didn't get coal on my face. read more

The owner and his family are very involved in the business. Always felt very welcomed and very at home. The couches are those that you can just melt into to enjoy amazing hookah. Check it out. I'mma white 37 year old man. I came across this place from a cat who live in my complex in Westchester and he Hawaiian. I know what a fucking hookah bar is. Please take my review seriously as it is 100% true this so called Cairo is very dangerous to all women and is emotionally unstable I witnessed it. he physically hurts woman out of self frustration and shouldn't be working at such a fine establishment just ask who is serving you, he has long hair and wears a black beanie most of the time. I Just loved this place! The owner and his wife (I guess) was super lovely to receive me and my friend. I was there guided by their reviews on Yelp and i did not disappointed at all! I'm Brazilian and I felt really confortable with all the infos that they gave me about their flavours (and his suggestions of mix flavours). The price was fair enough, once ever I've never have been visited another hookah lounge in LA. Must say my experience was trully good. I spent like 2 or 3 times in a row, while I was in town! Nacy and the family at LAX Hookah are absolutely amazing! The most kind loving family and hookah lounge I have ever been to. I have smoked different hookah around la and even in Morocco. We were told they were having issues with the hoses and that it was their "opening night" and they were still ironing things out, which was confusing considering the business already has around 70 reviews. When the hookahs finally arrived, the equipment quality was awful. The hoses kept falling out, and staff eventually had to use multiple extra gaskets just to get mine working properly. They also overfilled the base with water, so water was getting pulled into the hose with every draw. We weren't even provided tongs, and my bowl burned up unusually fast. It does look like they tried to clean the hookah before giving it to us because the base was filled with soapy water. There were so many bubbles on the surface of the water and each draw of the hookah tasted like dish soap. The worst part was the timing. My hookah was finally made usable only about 20 minutes before closing, so after paying full price I barely had any time to actually enjoy it before the building closed. At that point, I felt like I had paid for an experience I never really received. The rest of the lounge wasn't much better. The TV/music setup had terrible audio quality, the remote batteries were dead, and nobody could skip the advertisements or control what was playing. On the way in, water from the AC above the entrance literally dripped onto my head. The bathroom was also atrocious and badly needed attention. I understand that a new business can have opening-night issues, and I normally give places some grace for that. But if you're charging customers full price, the basic equipment and service need to be ready. Functional hoses, properly filled hookahs, tongs, clean bathrooms, working entertainment equipment, and enough time to actually use what you paid for are pretty fundamental. I came in wanting to support the place and have a good night, but after spending $200, I left feeling seriously disappointed and ripped off. I hope management takes the feedback seriously and fixes these issues quickly.
