But, the outside seating is beautiful, you can watch your sports here, do homework and get a little wine buzz. the hooka was very cheap, I would say around $35 with endless flavors. We went with the spice chai, very smooth to my liking. The hosts are so nice and very fast to put out orders. This is a local spot so building a relationship goes a long way. Now for the food! WHEEWW! I recommend, it's very filling and flavorful. I had the shawarma bowl which comes with; sharwma, rice, cucumbers, hummus, greens and pickled onions. You have to try their bowls with a side of pita bread and the spicy tahini sauce. DELISH. My bestie had gotten their salmon bowl, which came with everything except for the shawarma. When the hookahs finally arrived, the equipment quality was awful. The hoses kept falling out, and staff eventually had to use multiple extra gaskets just to get mine working properly. They also overfilled the base with water, so water was getting pulled into the hose with every draw. We weren't even provided tongs, and my bowl burned up unusually fast. It does look like they tried to clean the hookah before giving it to us because the base was filled with soapy water. There were so many bubbles on the surface of the water and each draw of the hookah tasted like dish soap. The worst part was the timing. My hookah was finally made usable only about 20 minutes before closing, so after paying full price I barely had any time to actually enjoy it before the building closed. At that point, I felt like I had paid for an experience I never really received. The rest of the lounge wasn't much better. The TV/music setup had terrible audio quality, the remote batteries were dead, and nobody could skip the advertisements or control what was playing. On the way in, water from the AC above the entrance literally dripped onto my head. The bathroom was also atrocious and badly needed attention. I understand that a new business can have opening-night issues, and I normally give places some grace for that. But if you're charging customers full price, the basic equipment and service need to be ready. Functional hoses, properly filled hookahs, tongs, clean bathrooms, working entertainment equipment, and enough time to actually use what you paid for are pretty fundamental. I came in wanting to support the place and have a good night, but after spending $200, I left feeling seriously disappointed and ripped off. It took 10-15 minutes just to seat us, even though there were clearly open tables. They didn't even have a hookah menu, so we had no idea what flavors or options they offered. After finally ordering, one hookah took about 45 minutes to arrive. Later, we ordered just fries and a bottle of water. After waiting over 30 minutes, neither had arrived. Meanwhile, we watched customers who came after us receive multiple plates of food. We finally gave up, paid, and left.
