I took it in to be tailored as it was a bit over sized. When told that wasn't something he wanted to tackle.. I asked to have a zipper installed as I am a disabled vet and had problems with the original snaps... long story short he removed my snaps (The zipper was behind so no need) installed fake "Rivets" and didn't even seat/secure them with a tool..just pushed them in "Plugged" the hole with them. Well I lost two of them the first night I wore it. I found them on the floor. I ordered a tool to see if I could seat them, but I bought cheap wrong dies that wouldn't work. The second night worn, the zipper tore loose from the hand stitch. All in all this was beyond a shoddy rushed job that I waited over a month for. I paid $200 for the coat and $150 for this "Work". I didn't take it back and complain, I figured this is the work they do and didn't want to wait weeks again to wear a football jacket when the season is about over. I know how to sew (Thanks grandma) so I will take the $150 loss and just do all the work all over myself. So maybe I got a bad day job, I don't know...but I am throwing this out there to all. If it happened to me with my prize item..I would think hard about giving them your item. I am adding pictures of rivet heads, holes in jacket and zipper and stitching.

The hems were also misaligned. When I addressed these issues with the owner he was very rude. Insisted they could "steam" the holes out. When asked why they had pinned sticky notes onto the front of the dresses (creating holes) the response was "you know very well why" No. I do not know why a person hired to alter a dress would deliberately damage the fabric. I am posting photos of the dresses I received and the damage that was caused by this store. Very disappointing.

I then had to wait around for about 20 minutes, only to be told they still needed more time and that I would have to come back the next day. While I am waiting, I am hearing the owner get defensive with another patron regarding black spots on her white dress that were not there when she dropped the dress off. The lack of accountability for the inconvenience was frustrating. When picking my leggings up for the second time, I asked if there could be any sort of partial refund or discount since the work had not been done correctly the first time that I had to point out, and required multiple trips, but she refused and got quite defensive at me, similar to the day before with another patron. In the end, the issue may have been corrected, but the overall customer service experience was poor. I will not be returning.

She even put a rush on fixing it and the cost was very fair! Didn't even charge extra for the rush! The first place cut off the "horsehair braid" from the bottom of the dress to shorten it and it made the dreas look COMPLETELY different it akmost looked pleated. The other place said they couldn't fix it so we took here to Lee's Tailors and they fixed it which made my daughter so happy and relieved which made me happy and relieved lol. We have two more future prom girls and will definitely be bringing their dresses, as well as any other tailor work, to Lee's without question!

When I came back to pick it up, she had me try it on in a fitting room towards the back and that's when I realized this place is covered in mold. I was horrified. I explained my concerns to her and she didn't seem to care. My dress was here for a month. I still paid because I knew it took her time for the alteration but I'm not even comfortable wearing the dress now knowing the risk of mold spores in fabric, even after washing it.

When she put the dress on last night for me, one of the straps that they had shortened was not the right length. Someone helped her put the dress on THREE times the morning she picked up and no one thought it was important to adjust it. The stitching on the lining and pads looked like novice work. After the wedding, I'll post pictures. The hustle loops are loops of elastic thread. thankfully it was only $25 for those three loops and buttons. There is no pricing transparency so we were surprised by what we paid. The owner told me that she would give pricing estimates from now on. I'd encourage you to ask and get it in writing. Disappointed.
