I bought a suit and brought it home and my mirrors and camera looked very different than what I thought it looked like in the store. I wanted to exchange just the top which had all tags. It was only tried on at home once and looked like an old lady according to my friends and daughter. Nope. They said we have a no return policy and tell every customer. I guess except me because I never would have bought it. I have spent hundreds of dollars here and won't be anymore. I'm giving the suit to a friend's mother who will look appropriate in it.

Have shopped SMU for a good 23 years. This particular location is questionable staff wise. Younger…read moreemployees see me multiple times in the store but never greet me or ask if I am doing okay. At register I noticed the person before me was asked if they were in the system but I was not. Both this time and the previous time I was there. I had to ask the employee if she was going to look me up in the system because I am and prefer email receipts. I would highly suggest re-training employees on customer service. No matter what age or race. People should be treated with respect. I will continue shopping at SMU but stick with Annapolis and Bethesda stores.

Note I did check out a few other "surf" shops in OCMD that were quite frankly a hot mess and junky. The outside and inside was very pristine and well kept. I love all the brands Oakley, Costa, Rip Curl, etc. The staff was pretty nice. I did buy a Ron Jon pop socket for my phone. Probably overpaid for a Ron Jon logo one but alas I'm from the West Coast and I thought it was cool. When I got back home I found a cute Ron Jon sticker they put in my bag. The sales are great and every now and then I up my game and buy the new suits in the wall too. I have always been helped out and they are def quick with the size finders and styles of like that look great on me. My mom loves this store and literally every time Armee here she has to too. Definitely all the major holidays and she's got bags of new suits. I guess my whole family shops here because my sis too and all the nieces and nephews get their cute suits here too.
