After all the ugliness of my uncles illness and feeling like I was thrown to the wolves at the hospital, to say that I was overwhelmed with the events that took place over the past few weeks would be an understatement. My thoughts were scattered and I was emotionally numb. I called Flynn funeral home at a most unorthodox hour and was stunned when Tommy Flynn answered the phone. Stunned. He was kind and patient and addressed my fumbling, babbling questions and requests and made me feel understood and most of all, like I was not sounding slightly insane. It turns out that Tommy has an excellent working relationship with the hospital where my uncle died and was able to expedite the process of having my uncle cremated remains and even the death certificates available in less than 72 hours.
