He came about 3:00 and looked at what we had and gave us a very reasonable quote to haul all of this stuff away. He left to get his 2 trucks and trailers and came back with 2 other men about 4:30. About 2 and a half hours later they had both buildings cleared and swept clean. We could not believe they got all of that junk on 2 trailers, or this was all done in 1 day. We could not be more pleased, and will contact them again for our next project.

It was a delicate situation, doing a removal of personal items for a family member who passed away whose mother was on site and grieving. Well, I got clods of harden dirt rocks, clay and some soil. It won't grow crap. I won't put it in my flower beds, or on my lawn, but I habe to find a place to get rid of it. I was asked if I'd like a Supervisor to come look at the dirt and I said yes. Johnny came and told me it was wet, but the rocks aren't wet. These are super hard rocks of dirt.. if it's screened topsoil it should not have all this in it. He said " this is what we put on Golf Courses" I call bull! I use to do business with Chilcutt's because the old owner was a Fireman, and we were on the same Search and Rescue team, but apparently the new owner doesn't care that he is ruining the Chilcutt name by providing crappy materials. I have 130 houses to build and will not have a load of dirt placed in the development by a Chilcutt truck. The driver said they would make it right, because they want happy customers, he's only been with them 5 months, so guess he didn't know they don't want happy customers.

Also the increase in move price from what the owner quoted online was wrong. He did resolve the move price. I did put a claim in to get my tv console damage replaced. Waiting to hear back. Honestly I would not do business with this company again because of the hidden fees and the way the move was handled. It could have been done more professionally. Damages to property should be replaced by business especially when it's not usable. This is my honest assessment of this company. I've used Firefighters movers before they did great.
