I actually came to LBM on the recommendation of another bartender (Nora from bad medicine, another amazing spot!) We told Nora that we were bar hopping and she said that should be our next stop. The place was pretty busy, but we found a couple seats at the bar. The bar staff were friendly and willing to make recommendations since it was our first visit. The cocktails were delicious and so were the Brussel sprouts. I'd definitely visit again.

The atmosphere here is really cool. Just stopped by here for a quick drink with some friends. Our waitress was friendly and timely with checking in on our table. Definitely coming back!

Got recommended this place by family friends and decided to check it out. The overall metal/goth vibe in here is extremely refreshing and the drinks were really unique. We tried the oysters as well which were very fresh. The service is quick and this seems like a great neighborhood bar

Fun and tasty cocktails! This one is the "Old Cuban"

Let me say how grateful I am that a friend chose this place for dinner and drinks. Went with a party of 6. The food was absolutely delicious. The meat (pork belly and beef french dip crustinis) were outrageous. My husband got a burger and he devoured it in minutes. This place makes all their own sauces (the homemade ketchup was SO GOOD) and they make their own infused syrups and bitters for cocktails. The atmosphere was so fun, playing rock music with an awesome vibe. The service was excellent! Our waitress was attentive and friendly! This place is now on our list of fave places in Lakewood!! 10/10

Haven't been here in years and I'm glad I went back. Loved my cocktails. I ordered the hot dog to go and that did not disappoint. Was the perfect munchie after drinking food. Service was top notch, checked on us and loved the heavy metal ambiance. It's my kind of bar.

Unbelievable drinks and really fun food. This metal Viking bar has something everyone will love! The staff is so kind and you'll feel right at home here. It's small inside but makes getting a seat that much more fun. Make sure you get one of their specialty cocktails. If you're lucky enough to snag a seat at the bar, watch their expert bartenders go to work. This place is a must try!

LBM was one of our first stops in Cleveland and it really set the bar high for cocktails in the city. We met up with some local friends and enjoyed looking around the bar as it's decorated with some interesting items - it's giving death metal demonic vibes, which was unique and different. Probably not for everyone but I liked it. The lighting above the bar was very cool. We arrived during happy hour and enjoyed a $10 cocktail. Happy hour runs 4-7pm on weekdays and also includes some cheaper food items. I loved the Hellhound cocktail and you can't beat a $10 drink. The space isn't huge so we had a bit of a wait for a table, but they have a bar rail that you can order from while you wait. All the employees were super friendly and very helpful with recommendations. We also had the margherita fries for a delicious snack. What a great little neighborhood bar! If I lived nearby I feel like I would want to go here all the time.

Pretty good bar in Lakewood serving balanced cocktails and playing real death metal which I enjoyed, I never expected to hear Black Curse in a bar like this! The service was great too. Check em out if you're in the area!

Several local bartenders had recommended this place to us as one of the top cocktail bars in Cleveland, and we finally got around to trying it. I'll admit, I'm not a fan of heavy metal, so I was a little worried about the vibe. But, at least when we came, early on a Saturday afternoon, it was very chill -- more classic rock than metal, and not crowded at all. We tried three drinks: 1) Gunslinger 2.0: This one really sells out on the ginger, which works awesome if you like ginger (and we do!). Very bright, zippy, and refreshing. 2) Golden Daze: Light, tropical, not too tart. Maybe just a touch sweeter than it needs to be? 3) Crushed by a Dwarf: Comes in a super fun tiki mug with a color-changing light in it! Not going to lie, I love the gimmick. Maybe my favorite drink of the three! A little smoky from the mezcal, some cool spice flavors, very complex. For food, we shared the burger, which was divisive. I was totally on board--goat cheese, arugula, and a perfect (giant) patty. I'm there for it all the way. For my fiancé, it was a little too creative. His biggest complaint was the house ketchup: it's interesting and tasty, but sometimes you just want normal ketchup with your burger and fries. One thing we totally agreed on was that the fries themselves were INCREDIBLE. He would have called it four stars, but luckily for LBM, I'm the one writing!

If you love a craft cocktail this is the place for you!! They have different specials and I tried about three of them. I really enjoyed the grounds for divorce coffee drink that will be discontinuing shortly. So If you are reading this.....it maybe too late. The first time I went I sat at the bar and I believe my bartender's name started with a B. He was great! All his recommendations were spot on. The second time I went ( yes this was in a 3 day time span.....dont judge me) my server was Jason. Jason was amazing. He was super knowledgeable about the menu, drinks and background on the establishment. The food menu is a bit small but perfect at the same time. The BURGER is top tier and I really enjoy the pikora with the jalapeno dipping sauce (YUM!). The only negative thing I can say, and this definitely subjective, is the music. I am not into heavy metal at all and would prefer not to hear it while I am eating. However, the food and drink will keep me coming back. Tip: They do have an outdoor dining option but make sure to wear your bug spray. Closed on Sunday Also, try to guess what LBM stands for? aa fun game to play with your server.

I stopped by LBM recently while visiting the area and I was glad I did. It was a really solid cocktail bar blasting death metal. The guys working were quite friendly and they made an incredible cocktail. The cocktails on the menu there seemed to be original and not like anything I had seen elsewhere. I rolled with a Doomin Sun and I was happy with my selection. It was uniquely flavorful. Solid spot that I will absolutely revisit next time I am in the area.

The bone marrow was huge and so delicious with the sweet tart balsamic pate! The mixed greens were a great balancing touch with the toast points too. The shrimp was also delicious and lightly fried with plenty of accompaniment.

For my entree, I had the cauliflower Milanese. It was really good. Perfectly breaded cauliflower and a nice salad on top. I will say it was expensive for an entree that didn't have a protein ($19). I'm a vegetarian so my options were limited but I would've liked maybe some tofu or beans to go with it to make it more substantial. My boyfriend had the lobster roll and really enjoyed it. For golf, we could only play the top floor course because there was a private party downstairs which was kind of disappointing. But the golf was fun. Fairly easy course and didn't have to wait too long for the group in front of us. I'd definitely like to come back and try the downstairs!

FOOD -- I ordered the Slow Braised Pork ($22) which includes sweet potato gnocchi, fennel, crispy sage, and apple cider glaze. This was a delicious and very hearty meal. I hardly eat pork so I'm glad that I enjoyed the dish. The sweet potato gnocchi was perfectly paired with the pork. Everything in the dish just blended well together. All my friends enjoyed their food too, from the meatballs, calamari, burger with fries, ratatouille, and more. I nibbled on a few of them and loved it especially the wagyu meatballs. The food was all full of flavour. Service was nice all afternoon as the server came to check on us a few times including refilling our water glasses. MINI GOLF -- Head downstairs to play some games. You pay a fee and are then given score sheets. A friend's friend had surprisingly paid for all of us and I had no idea until the next day (for some reason I thought the mini golf was included in the lunch cost...LOL). Each golf game has a different course with some being more challenging than others. I recommend Birdietown Mini Golf and Lounge for a fun day of mini golf plus lunch. I can see myself coming back again. **** GOAL of 250 reviews in 2026 - 48/250 total reviews in 2026 - 889 total Yelp reviews - Reviewed on 24 April 2026
