The specials featured your choice of seasoned beef or steak tacos, served hard or soft shell...and if you're feeling adventurous, you can even stack them. The empanadas were generously stuffed with seasoned beef, cheese, jalapeños, and onions, making every bite flavorful and satisfying. The real star of the evening was the Mexican Pizza. Built on two crispy tostadas layered with savory refried beans, seasoned beef, fresh vegetables, melted cheese, and topped with sour cream, it was absolutely outstanding. To top it all off, many of their favorite cervezas were on special, but we opted for the margaritas, which paired perfectly with the meal. Came here for dinner after the local farmers market on recommendation from a friend and we're so glad we went. We all got wings which were each $0.65 or something equally affordable. The fries were perfectly cooked and I loved my wings. The ambiance was communal and friendly. We chatted with the regulars and were told the steak dinner special on Mondays is worth the trip. 10/10! read more

Really enjoyed my visit here. Met the owner of the place and left very impressed. Just had a few beers, but the star of the show was the $5 smashburger and side of seasoned fries. Cool little place. Went with a friend for late lunch and since it's taco Tuesday you know I had to try a taco. I got a soft taco with sour cream, pretty decent. Bartender was super friendly and patrons (I'm assuming a lot were regulars) were very nice as well. It's your typical divey type of place and it's right on pearl. Super easy to find. It was clean and they have tons of tvs all over. They also have daily menu specials. They do karaoke on Friday nights, I definitely want to check that out. read more

Nice neighborhood place to stop in for a drink. Reasonable prices make up for the selection of spirits. They have the categories covered, just not the typical amount of brands for each. It is enough to get by for sure though. I ordered the Lemon Pepper Dry Rub Jumbo wings. For starters, the wings really are jumbo. The rub was perfect. My husband opted for the House Hot Jumbo Wings. They were more sweet with a back note of heat. Not the Buffalo based hot one would expect. Fine if that is your thing. Not so much, if it is not. I say stop in if you're already in the area. Stopped by to pick up a burger for lunch and was dissappointed. Was a full half pound, so plenty to eat, but asked for medium and got well done. Was dry with little sauce, if any. Lettace could have been tossed as it was inedible. Sweet potato fries were good and sprinkled with cinnamon sugar if you like it that way. Sound system is too loud and had trouble hearing the bartender speak to me. Not just my old age - the sound was WAY too loud. Not much to chose from in the way of beers. They allow vaping as well, so be prepared for inhaling some fumes. Better than tobacco smoke, but still annoying. Overall a traditional bar experience with nothing to write home about in the food department. Stop by for a beer and call it a day. read more

The food is fantastic for a 'dive bar' ; the taco tuesday is great with not only tacos but also a smothered burrito and a quesadilla on specal. Five stars there. Service leaves a lot to be desired. As I sit here writing this the bartender has been planted at the last seat at the bar for 10 minutes playing on her phone and talking with her friend about 'man issues'. After having nothing to drink for 10 minutes I finally got her attention and asked for a bud lite draft, and got it in a bottle with an eyeroll as an explanation. It's weird to see a bartender actively trying to avoid serving drinks to paying customers. One star in service. read more

Went there because I personally sent with my brother for Monday $1- steak which the steak was good enough that I wanted to come & bring wife, it's sad how much potential this place has when I was there with my brother it was slow, on the night that I took my wife it was even more slower, I figured it out that they only had 1 female playing the role of waitress, bus person, barkeep & I think she was the cook also. Wife had baked potato which was the size smaller of a baseball wasn't worth $3.99 she was disappointed, I had the mash potatoes w/ gravy which was fine, now for the steaks O.M.G they were hard & dry no seasoning at all even though the menu says "seasoning" on it, I guess different cooks from when I went before, hope management would get extra help for this place you can tell the lady was frustrated running around being the only one, of course the tables are going to be dirty & that I had to go to the bar to get a refill even though she apologized I told her "don't worry I see you're the only one here thinking around", would I go back most likely not... read more

I stopped by an hour and half before they closed on a Wednesday and the service was fast not the friendliest bartender she was just marginal to me . I didn't eat the food because the kitchen was closed but my brother in law says they have good food. I think their pricing is ahead of their time . 4.50 for a single of Jack is expensive , 4.00 for a Heineken for Pearl Rd this ain't the warehouse District. The Rock glass which was the small one was about 40% full . If your gonna charge that at least fill that rock glass up with liquor . I think they just need to adjust their pricing and/or their serving size. Jack don't cost 30 dollars a fifth to charge that , this ain't Hennessy.They have a pool table and digital juke box ! Upon walking in, I saw the well-maintained dark grain (painted) wood and large stone walls and ceiling. Extremely reminiscent of a ski lodge. I really like that. Minimal tschotskes on the wall. For a second, this made me ask myself whether or not, was I in Old Brooklyn ?! Yep, I was.. the beer prices were pretty cheap and the draft beer selection is limited to domestics and the only micro they had was Great Lakes. Good service at the bar. I didn't try any of the food but my compadre like their hot wings which were doused with Frank's Red Hot. There's also a pool table and a foosball table; and plenty of seating, it's larger than what it looked from the outside. There's also an outdoor concrete patio in the back. The last time I was there, the mural in the bathroom had a naked lady on it, and that really blew my mind. They were at least kind enough to remove the charcoal "medium" burgers (clearly made with a frozen patty) from our tab. The pepperoni bread was decent, but I became suspect when I heard the bartenders discussing needing to go to the store to get more Texas toast. And between 2 bartenders they walked by an empty drink glass 17 times before asking if a refill was needed. Was hoping for a good neighborhood bar and was optimistic from other reviews. Worse place ever... went there with a party of 7 ordered food and appetizers, we thought it would be quick because we were the only people eating food. Then we waited for over an hour before 2 plates showed up. Ended up leaving after an hour and half due to poor service and no food. The only reason I go to this place anymore is for the food. Some of the best wings in Cleveland. Fridays is wing night and last time I was there, they were 40 cents each. Mondays is $1.00 steak night. And the steak isn't garbage for that price either-it's good! The crowd that goes there is ghetto though. Only been there once, but I'll be back. The wings I got were the best wings I've had in a very long time. Butter Garlic and the Hot Honey sauces were both delicious. Wings were crispy and juicy. Steak night on mondays is good. they now have it all day. however service is not the best. any given day or night bartenders can be out smoking or bs on oppisite side of where you are sitting and you will wait awhile for a drink. aalso majority of the time the bartenders are drunk so good luck with that. read more

This place is a very solid fat four stars. I can understand why people wouldn't travel from outside of the Brooklyn neighborhood to come to the Pearl Road Tavern, but for those who reside in the area, it is a gem, and it easily rivals all the other neighborhood bars on the Memphis strip. It seems that they recently had a change of ownership, and the new management are extremely friendly and young. The clientele is slowly switching over from union retirees to a younger and more energetic crowd, which is very nice to see. The beer selection is above average. The menu is very varied. The food is excellent quality, and all for very affordable prices. There is a nice atmosphere both inside and outside. read more

This is a great bar to visit. The drinks are priced right, and the food is great for bar. They have a patio out back with a fire for the smokers to stay warm. The bartenders are super nice and very attentive to guests needs. They could use a little more parking but other then that it is a great place. read more
