Since the Roxy and Mahall's are connected and jointly owned, I want to be clear that this experience reflects on both venues. While my friends and I were trying to find a place to stand, one of my friends was confronted by a couple who were upset that someone was standing in front of them. Instead of simply expressing frustration, they escalated the situation by "transvestigating" her--accusing her (a cisgender woman) of being transgender--and making several derogatory, bigoted comments. It was completely inappropriate and deeply unsettling. Because I've always viewed the Roxy and Mahall's as safe and inclusive spaces, I immediately went to security. Both I and another person explained what happened, but the only response we received was that they would "keep an eye on the person." Knowing that someone was allowed to behave this way without being removed made me feel anxious and unsafe, especially as a transgender person myself. I'm cis‑passing and was fortunate not to be clocked, but the entire situation shook my sense of trust in venues I've always felt comfortable in. I truly hope the Roxy and Mahall's take incidents like this more seriously moving forward. Everyone deserves to feel safe and respected at shows, and bigoted harassment should never be tolerated.

My partner and I ordered the chicken tenders and parky burger with a side of fries all of which was delicious especially with their sauces that they have. The one thing I didn't like about Mahall's was having to order our drinks at the bar it would have been nice if the table where you order your food at could accommodate drink orders.

Entirely self-service so you don't have to wait for bartenders (unless you're getting a cocktail) and you can try as little of a beer or as much as you want. Unique concept, I had a great time! If you're mentally 12 years old and easily bored like I am, the board games and swings will definitely keep you entertained. Not that you should go swinging like crazy, it's not a playground, but definitely whimsical and fun to not have to stay still! Cute decor and very relaxed vibe. Spoke to one of the owners and he was super nice and incredibly knowledgeable.

You bring the food or order from the list of shops nearby, or buy the munchies here. Load a card with $10, and in small glasses try the beers, wines and cocktails, and non-alcoholic beers on tap. Play pool or bring games to play. Certain nights have trivia, shuffle board tournaments, or board games. Jorden, the owner, is excited for this social concept. He saw a Tapster in Chicago's Lincoln Park, and wanted to bring it to CLE. I think this place is neat. Jorden talks about his place and the many plans for it. I attended a small company function here. We brought in pizza from next door, and tried the beers on tap. Lots of tables were available. Some people played pool. Lots of parking is in the rear. Enter from the front or back door. Come in to Tapster, a tasting room.

Where the bacon is hanging from a clothesline and it's sold with a side of Kool-Aid pickles. That appetizer is so offensive being a black woman. I was just in disbelief how racist this one dish is all in itself. I think you guys should remove that. Especially knowing what part of the city it's in Lakewood, which is predominantly white and you're serving baking from hanging clothesline with Kool-Aid pickles I think you guys should try again it's very offensive.

Unfortunately, they couldn't put us together, but we made it work. The location has a spectacular view of Cleveland's skyline. Even with some haze, it was lovely. The food was a hit with everyone. We started with the clothesline bacon and a cinnamon roll. It was perfect for our table. The bacon was not candied as described. It was good, but not something I'd order again for the price. 5 "ok" sugared bacon. The presentation was cute and the blueberry preserves were tasty. The sliced baguette toast was way too hard (break a tooth hard). My Florentine Benedict was cooked perfect,y. I opted for the fruit instead of the potatoes. I didn't realize it would be a $4.00 add on, but it was fresh and all the fruit was perfect. Others had the chicken and waffles, with a side of blueberry sausage, a smash burger and various yummy cocktails. My pomegranate mimosa was delicious and the plump blackberry was scrumptious. The family wall of pictures was a great tribute to life, family, love and Michael T Joseph who sadly died too young. It's a wonderful place to go with friends and family. I highly recommend when you're looking for a special place. Looking forward to coming back. PS: please donate to https://www.awakeningangels.org !
