Be prepared to see instructors on Friday, never to be seen again on Monday. I offered certified therapy dogs to visit during finals AND THEY TURNED IT DOWN. I was shocked. And disgusted. Look for other options. This review will be everywhere it can be... One last thing. During the graduation ceremony, they chose a student to make a speech. It was ALL ABOUT HIM AND TRULY AN EMBARRASSMENT. They should have reviewed it before allowing it...

Promptly at 1:00pm I took my written test, although I was the last person to take the skills test, the observer had me sit down and repeated the skills one more time and showed me where all the supplies were in order to complete the skills portion of the test. When it comes to the Jewish students at ASU, Hillel is one of a very few places that they go to for support whether it be a talented group of staff, a building that feels like home, and plenty of intentional programming and activities that take place both within the building and across the four ASU campuses. As an ASU staff member and a Hillel board member, I have found myself staying in touch with Hillel staff members and student leaders on a regular basis and making it over to the Hillel Jewish Student Center whenever I get a chance. This year, being based at the West Valley Campus has made it more challenging to do so, but when I plan the drive out accordingly, I can make it to special events on the Tempe Campus or at the Hillel Jewish Student Center. After having worked at three universities each with a Hillel center, I have been impressed with the work put in by the staff, volunteers, and student leaders to create such a meaningful experience for the students and community members who find themselves at Hillel. Hillel offers programming to celebrate the many Jewish holidays throughout the year including weekly Shabbat services and even the High Holidays when classes are in session. Their website (https://www.hillelasu.org) highlights many of these events in a calendar. They also have communities within the community at Hillel including groups for students involved with Greek Life, engineering, business, journalism, the Downtown Campus, the Polytechnic campus, and those interested in social justice. There are also Birthright Israel trips sponsored by Hillel bringing students on 10-day trips to Israel. For many of the programs and events, even non-Jewish students are welcome to join. They also offer Kosher food onsite, scholarships, employment and internships, travel opportunities, and an opportunity for families to connect. In fact, there are events during Move-In, Family Weekend, Jewish holidays including the High Holidays, and other times throughout the year when families are welcome to join their students (though they technically are never turned away). There are also opportunities for the community and alumni to make donations to support such programming. From the annual fundraiser L'dor V'dor to the new capital campaign to get a new building built, there are many ways to contribute. I certainly recommend anyone knowing a current or future ASU student who has Jewish ties to continue reaching out to the ASU Hillel to connect with them.

There's tons of housing, education facilities, and sports venues. Some of them are by the Town Lake! All of the buildings looked fresh and inviting. I visited during the off-season (winter break) and people were still roaming the campus enjoying the many amenities and eateries nearby (or should I say inside?). It seems like ASU is the heartbeat of Downtown Tempe, I never felt overwhelmed, I just felt this warm, scholastic pride for Tempe's esteemed campus. I definitely want to visit Mullet Arena soon to see some Sun Devils hockey!

You will likely lose both your money and your energy here. Many of the instructors are RNs but lack the proper qualifications to teach effectively, and they provide little to no useful instruction. It's hard to understand how the nursing board even grants them credentials. The administration seems to care more about collecting tuition than ensuring students actually learn. If your goal is to complete a nursing program smoothly and become a competent, proficient nurse, I recommend choosing a different school. Save yourself the frustration and invest your time and resources elsewhere.

Then I walked around inside the Main building & was impressed by the mod colors/design. The exterior of another building features a gorgeous patio, for students to relax/study. Who knew?!
