I'm a new tenant of LCL reality and this morning I locked myself out of my house at 5 am. I called the after-hours and luckily a nice women answered(forgot her name). She and her husband came promptly and unlocked my door to get me back into my house. I've never done this before but am so thankful they were so nice and professional! Also, I want to mention, during the process of applying for this home, all the staff was so helpful and attentive and made my move so easy. Any time I call their office office for any maintenance issues, their team has a quick response time and always gets it done on the first request! I highly recommend this co. In fact, when I decide to buy a property in this area, I will use this co for the sale. They won me over with their on-going professionalism and grateful they helped me out of this sticky situation today! Thanks again LCL! read more

I watched an elderly woman who is disabled and with section 8 unable to renew her lease and was forced out of her home of nearly 8 years. This was done by this management company....only to turn around and try to rent if for a few hundred dollars more!!! The individual who lived there has an excellent credit rating and consider the age of the home, it was well maintained. They did not give a reason for not renewing her lease. Which they are suppose to. Imagine finding out that this management company does not know how section 8 works and the laws that protect individuals from such actions from managment companies. Imagine ousting a senior citizen who is disabled, a section 8 recipient and just wanted a place to live peacefully no reason given.... Horrible company, horrible business morals and ethics. I have been to multiple viewings with family to see homes. We always have to call because the access code they give through text is never correct. Then you have to call and leave a message because no one is ver answers the phone. This is pathetic. This is unprofessional. This shows their lack of customer service. This company should be restructured and replace the current personal with qualified responsible professionals. NICE when moving in, absolutely horrible and deceptive when moving out. I rarely leave an unkind review, but this one is necessary. Read your lease very carefully. And DO look at the move in photos. Upon move out, they will demand that you have the carpets cleaned professionally at your own expense. 350.00 for normal wear and tear, and then keep EVERY PENNY OF YOUR 2,350.00 DEPOSIT. If you like to be treated like family this is the place to go.The experience was heart warming. Absolutely horrible company to work with and incredibly unprofessional. "Ruthie" is incompetent and unable to relay simple information to homeowners accurately and recall clear conversations. They are rude, unprofessional, and incompetent. The "agent" showed up 15 minutes late to the property multiple times in slippers and sweatpants. We were scheduled to sign our lease on 2/21, we were told we were waiting for a revision from "higher ups" then they called and stated they would no longer be renting the property to us because the homeowner backed out. This was the DAY OF move in, after packing my entire house, giving notice to my landlord, after having verbal and written agreements, paying a deposit, having the house sprayed for insects, hiring movers, and having to vacate my home within 48 hours. read more

Avoid this property management company. We scheduled a viewing of a property that was for rent. The appointment was confirmed three times and yet no one showed up to show us the house. We waited 30 minutes hoping someone would have the decency to call and let us know they were running late BUT NO ONE DID. We even received emails after our showing time asking if we liked the house and wanted to apply. If this is how they treat people before becoming tenants, I can't imagine how they treat tenants. I have never experienced a more unprofessional company. If I could give less then a star I would. They charge for maintenance in the home without reviewing it with you. They raise rent without reviewing it with you. They go back and forth with what they say to you and change it to what works for them In the moment. They speak to people like they are the the most knowledgeable and then act like it's your fault when they make no sense. Get ready to get taken! Do not rent through them if you are hopeful of getting your security deposit back, even after providing proof that the carpets were professionally cleaned, they held back $140 to clean them again. They charged for repairs are that were already noted as broken in the move-in paperwork. After having mold reports by a professional expert issued, they refused to clean the walls and take precautions resulting in multiple illnesses by both of my parents including a mild stroke caused by fungus. read more

I usually don't do this but If I have the option to leave negative stars rating, I would've done it. Do NOT use this office at any cost or under any circumstance. You apply as a tenant, they will charge you a fee of $40 per application, which is understandable in my case that was a total of $120 for all 3 applications. I submitted all my application along with all the required documents for myself and my parents since the property is for my parents and I was told that I was only the applicant for the property which it was great. They processed all applications for my parents and myself, ran credit (which now we all have an inquiry on our reports and credit scores went down by 19 points each), and they reached out to all previous properties to confirm rental history. Then 2 days later, I called to follow up and they said that the Landlord moved forward with another Tenant after I was told that I was only the applicant for the property. I found out there were 4 other applicants that applied and the landlord of course picked 1 tenant. Why would you even charge the application fee for ALL applicants that applied, run their credit and leave an inquiry on their credit reports if the landlord will ONLY take 1 tenant? You are hurting other people's credit and taking their money so you can tell them at the end the landlord moved forward with another tenant. Why don't you take each applicant at time and see if they are fully qualified and landlord is okay with everything before moving on to the next applicant on the list instead of hurting everyone at the same time? That's why I hate dealing with Property Management Companies because they only make money from taking advantage of people's situations and finances. WOREST company EVER. read more

Great on move in, but horrible on move out. The move out "coordinator" was a real piece of work. After having a professional cleaner come and clean, the gal noted that I still had some cleaning supplies out and said that the unit would require a "light cleaning." What BS. I am awaiting my final statement and the refund of my deposit. I will be taking to small claims court for the deduction of even $1 for damage or cleaning. read more

Called to see if house i was interested in was available and was told by Steve that house was for rent and that no one had applied yet. I left work early to drop off an application and was told that that house had been rented 10 mins before i got there. They had my number but didn't bother to ring me to let me know. This is the worst reality office I have ever been too. They were not up front about anything. Paid for a credit check and then was told that I didn't have enough money to cover the rent. We have great credit and couldn't understand their reasoning. Then they said I could have the apt if I paid one year in advance. I have never heard of such a thing. I think they are a bunch of crooks. No one said anything about this when we were filling out our papers for the credit check. They took our money for nothing. Shame on you LCL property management!!! We lived at a property for almost seven years great tenants never had any complaints all our yearly inspections went great. We decided to move and they are trying to keep all of our security deposit. We will see you in court. If you decide to rent a property from them you will not get your security deposit back.. Beware! A bunch of crooks! I moved out after 2 years and they kept$1,646 of my $2,100 security deposit. They want me to pay for the owner's fence that LCL's own maintenance techs said was not installed with long enough nails. They also charged me for an additional day off rent because they didn't schedule the move out inspection until the day after my lease was up. During a pandemic you would think they would try to be a little more compassionate but it's all shady business as usual. I'll see them and the owner in court. Possibly the worst Realty company out there. Not good at all. Stay away from this place like the plague. If you are a Vateran stay away please these people are liars saying that they will help you if you are a Veteran. They will turn it around once they run your credit. I will explain: So this lady I spoke to on the phone, and i had asked her if they would take my hud vash voucher. She had no idea what a hud vash voucher was so I explained to her what it was. I also had my VA case manager explain my situation. They had told me that the Duplex I was interested in was owned by the owner of the LCL Realty company, So there was more than a chance to obtain the Duplex. She made me and my spouse believe we are going to get the Duplex. Also, she said she WOULD get our application refunded if we did not get approved. Once they ran our credit they told us we were not approved because we have had an eviction in 2014. We did not know this at all as we thought that was off our credit.(By the way they run an EXTENSIVE credit check! They will dig deep.) When I had ask her to get our refund back she refused to give it back. The point is she lied about us getting the Duplex and led us on to believe something that is not true. I had also ask her if how long do they accept people with evictions; she said "five years and that it has been 4 years". If I can do my math right it is 2019. It has been 5 years. My point is they are liars. They will get you in to basically pay your application fee and throw it out. If you're a Vet or a struggling family please dont go here as they would have great prejudice towards you. read more

Like the other reviews, they are unethical and lie. I was a tenant for many years in a property. They gave me notice to vacate. When I asked why, they told me the owner was selling. When I inquired about possibly purchasing, they told me they have no information other then we have to leave. So we did. Fast forward 6 months, a package of mine was accidentally delivered to the old address. I asked the neighbor next door to find out if the workers received it. She was told in fact the package was received and was at the main office and they gave her a number. She gave me this information and I called. To my surprise it was for LCL and they were doing work on the property. So right there I believe they lied about having no information. Back to this package, they told me, no they don't have a package even though their workers already said they did. They have my number so they could have called me about receiving it. But instead they stole my package. I truly believe their intention the whole time was to get us out, charge the owner money to do the work to update the property and get the commission on a higher selling price. So they are liars and thieves. Don't use them for ANY services. Buyers and renters beware. I didn't even get into all the issues we had with them during the 7 years we were in the same property. We were fantastic tenants and deserved more respect then what we were given. Their repair work was terrible every time, except the plumber who was not an employee. read more
