For 5 euro on a Monday night (keep in mind this was 5+ years ago, so I'm sure the cost has skyrocketed), enjoy ladies night! All you can drink wine -- "je voudrais un verre de vin rouge (ou blanc)" was the first French phrase the non French speakers learned. And probably remembered. Haha. This is an Irish pub, so it's definitely a great option for tourists that are vacationing and do not speak an ounce of French. Outstanding service from the moment we arrived, the staff and who we believe was the owner were super attentive and helpful with the tourist crowd (aka us with our poor Knowledge of French) BUT WE MANAGED ! WE got the "Penicilin" and the "light and Stormy" and they were both Amazing! We didn't know what we should expect but it clearly surpassed any idea we had ! Since we were loving the atmosphere we decided to try their wraps (salmon and chicken) and these were perfect to accompany our drinks and keep our stomachs satisfied for the next hour or so of our road trip- plus it's located very close to the water so in a few steps you can get an amazing view of the ocean. Cozy is really the best way to describe it, but it's not cramped at all. We sat up at the bar and met Vince, the owner/bartender, and over the course of about 2 hours we kabitzed with Vince and simply chatted about France in general, soccer (there was a screen behind the bar showing a soccer match), American football, music, you name it. Vince has got an interesting collection of Star Wars items sprinkled around here and there, and simply created a nice place for people to just come in, imbibe, and sit to chat with friends. This was a memorable spot on our 10-day tour of France, and we loved it here so much that we'll go out of our way to go back for a visit next time we're in the French Riviera.
