But the small wine list included some nice options including a nice Gobillard Blanc de Noirs and the food was very good. My salmon was (somewhat surprisingly) perfectly cooked and great - the haricot verts were a bit bland and overcooked but still healthier than frites. My wife's pizza had a typical French crust and with the standard ham & mushroom toppings was very tasty. I would generally give this place 4 stars and I'm definitely a fan. However, you have to take it for what it is - as far as Brasseries go this is one of the better places you'll find in small towns across France. And the main other review on here is complaining about the steak - let's be honest, if you order steak or sausage in France it's usually a bit more funky and just different than you may expect despite the common names.
