This is an amazing shop! (Think they are now owned by LVMH)... it's like a tourist pilgrimage... for their shopping to bring French goods home. Butter, pate, cookies and spices... just overwhelming, in a good way. Le Bon Marche is neatly organized, and easy to follow the flow. The variety of offerings is amazing. Truffle salt! Cookies! Mustard! Butter! There are price friendly items and some expensive items, so really something for everyone. My only regret is - not knowing what I am allow to bring back to the states. Trying to ask someone for help was challenging and difficult. I said "Bonjour. Parlez Vous Anglais"... absolutely, no one bother to help. Compared to my experience at Galleries de Lafayette... the gentleman was knowledgeable and super helpful. So, for easy to find items - it's here at Le Bon Marche. For my pate and questionable items - I'll stick to Galleries de Lafayette.

Toys at the checkout counter! No service, 5 minutes standing there with employees bustling all around. Not one spoke to me or came to check me out. I made a video standing there and then left the product and store. 50€ is not worth an employees time. Beautiful store, terrible service.

This department store is the oldest in Paris. It's in a grand old building with lots of detail on the inside and outside. It has mostly luxury goods, but there are definitely some items you can buy that are more reasonable for souvenirs. Of course the service is excellent. They do pop-ups throughout the year when we were there it happened to be a dog pop up. They had a dog boutique on the first floor with the chandelier made of dog bones. The elevators look like giant bones, each floor had its own dog boutique, and there was a puppy Cafe an artist that could draw your dog, specialty collars, and lots of other fun stuff

We'd wandered around La Grande Épicerie and Le Bon Marché for a while and were starving. We were so happy to stumble upon the restaurant. We were led to our seats, a peaceful respite amidst the chaos of shopping. Even better, the food was delicious! We were served promptly and with friendliness.

Beautiful store with a wonderful curated assortment of products. Love this place and always on my list to visit for myself and gifts.

Bon Marche is equivalent to something like Saks - high end, items are beautifully displayed and it's WAY less insane than Galeries Lafayette. I stopped in during "Les soldes" (winter sales) and indeed there were sales. Don't expect to score on super high end stuff like Dior, YSL etc. The bargains are on French designers like Maje, Sezane etc. Most sale items were 20-50% off abd if you spend more than $100 you can claim tax refund if you're in the US. I assure you, if you're shopping here you'll exceed that so bring your passport. Lovely staff and service too.

The staff around the mall seem nice, it is quite a nice building in both parts, with there being a bridge to connect the two malls, which are located on the opposite side of the streets. Shops here also include a small high-street of shops, which is part of the mall but with only enterences from the street, this includes an Orange store which is recently closed for a refurb, a very poor branch of Mcdonald's and a fairly nice Pandora store. Due to high security alerts, there is a lot of security on here, near enough one in every shop including Marks and Spencer, and you will be seared when you go in, while someone will look in your bag and mainly use a detector, but considering the recent events in Paris which are devastating, you can understand why and it is putting people's safety first, and I don't have a problem with that. The lifts are also pretty cool, on the left hand of the mall, playing music as you ride in the lifts, however on the right side sadly they are not, with few lifts seeming to be very small and move very slow, meaning if you actually need it with a pram or wheelchair it can be hard and frustrating and take ages just to go up a level, I know how painful this is, I've even been stuck in a lift before having only needed to get up 4 steps, and was there for an hour, which is a similar, albeit more extreme example. Beaugrenelle might be a small building, but they do have some really nice places inside, including a Monoprix which was opened today and is classed as part of the mall, despite not being directly in it, which is quite a nice supermarket/department-store which also has a cool looking Starbucks Coffee inside. There even is a cinema here, making it the perfect place to spend an hour or two, and even admire the building, as it is a really nice place, both of them are and it even contains one of 14 Marks and Spencer store's in France, which is a total dwarfed by 852 stores in the United Kingdom. They have free-wifi as well with no sign-up required other than accepting the terms and conditions, which is good and still easy to do if you have no knowledge of speaking french, Overall, this is a really nice mall and I count myself lucky infact to have it so close to my hotel, as it is so easy to pick up essentials with many large stores, including Monoprix who have a self-juicing orange machine and Marks and Spencer who have a great gluten free range and even english labeling, so I'm pleased to give this mall a solid 4 star rating!
