3rd night in Cancun led us here, the scenery and ambiance is very hard to beat. It over looks a beach and you're surrounded by sand and beach chairs. We tried several dishes during our visit. They serve you a complimentary bread basket which is nice, the bread is fresh and very soft. We had the risotto with shrimp, it was very good. My wife got the gazpacho, I tried a bite, not really my thing. But my wife really enjoyed it. The grilled octopus was excellent, we've had some form of octopus every night and this was probably the best we've had yet. It's served on cantaloupe which oddly goes together very well. We finished with the gnocchi, again it was very good, nothing really stood out. If you've had good gnocchi at an Italian restaurant this is comparable. Overall I'd probably say it was 4.25 stars but you can only rank even so I give it 4.

Fantastic experience at Le Cap. Friendly and quick service, and the perfect ambience right on the hotel beach creates a truly relaxing vacation experience. Enjoyed a late lunch today, ordering the octopus ceviche, passion fruit creme brûlée, and lychee sangria which came in a pitcher for sharing. The ceviche was delicious -- had fresh ingredients, with reasonable helping of octopus, and went great with the chips. Would totally order again and come back to try more items on the menu.

Beautiful relaxing place next to the beach. The service was good with the server speaking English to take my dietary restricted order. I ordered the octopus. He did mention that it was soaked in salt water the nite before and no additional salt will be added. However it was pretty salty. Although the octopus was salty, it was tender. Just wish it was only 25% of the saltiness. The Greek salad on the side was OK. Small. The basil sauce was good addition to the octopus. The ambiance was nice but the good, I like it less salty. They did take all my restrictions on the food though.

We had an amazing evening in ale Cap, we had wonderful service. Enjoyed the breeze and the outdoor lighting. We ordered crunchy steak roll and California roll. Both very tasty. Molten chocolate cake for dessert which was divine. Always a smile under those masks with all the servers and they remember you and always say hi! You can make reservation on open table Would reconnect!

I had 2 lunches and one dinner here during my stay at the Interconti. Service was great on all visits! I very much liked that the dining area is totally outisde and does not have the bird problem the property's other restaurant has. Lunch for me was flatbread both times. The olive and goat cheese was better than the prosciutto and arugila. The crust was crispy like a cracker. I even got some char on my fingers from their wood oven! For dinner, I decided on their grilled lobster tail. I was told the grilling would take around 40 minutes and asked if I wanted a starter. No thanks. I am pretty much a small eater. It's good I didn't take a starter because the grilled tail was huge! It was accompanied with steamed vegetables and (mushroom?) orzo. The one problem with grilling a lobster tail is that it tends to dry out and thus become tough. I asked & received melted butter to dip the chunks of lobster meat. The huge portion made it impossible to finish the flavorful orzo and steamed vegetables. On Thursday evening, they had live jazz, which is something not expected in Mexico. It was a really nice touch.

OCTOPUS CEVICHE This review is based on a single dish of grilled octopus ceviche. While staying at the Presidente intercontinental hotel we had stopped here for lunch and got the same Dash three days in a row. I very seldom Leah get same dish at a restaurant since I like to try different items from the menu but here at the Beach Front café this was worth of a double repeat

We stayed at the Intercontinental and spent a day relaxing at their beach club. The wait staff was very attentive and we were never without a cold drink. There is no real public access to the beach so it was nice to be able to avoid the beach vendors which can be a hassle when you are just trying to relax. They also had a falcon with a handler to keep the sea birds away.

This review is for the Deck Bar, the beach front casual dining section of Le Cap Beach Club. This bar is located under a giant palapa, part of Intercontinental Presidente hotel. The menu is limited but good: tacos, sandwiches and burgers. I recommend their fajita, available mixed on request (beef, chicken & shrimp, not on the menu). Food is great, and the service casual and friendly. Most amazing is the view, priceless!

So we stayed in the intercontinental and this restaurant is by the pool area, we sat in the chairs by the beach and a server brought us the menu and omg they have great snacks to have while you just lay there toasting your buns. Chips and guac perfect, definitely have a coconut, they will cut it for you, they gave us lining and tajin and it was perfect so so perfect with a drink, they're not shy on the alcohol that's for sure.

It was as good of meal as we had our entire vacation- and the price was very reasonable, especially when compared to resort/hotel prices. It sits on the lagoon so there are really nice views- we prefer to sit outside and it was great. The warm rolls they brought out were delicious We started with 2 pizzas to share, and both were fantastic. We tried the BarBQ chicken pizza and the meatlovers- both really really good We all had pasta for main course. There is one dish that was penne with shrimp and chicken- that was the best. The fettuccine Alfredo was great, definitely better than average. The spicy shrimp pasta was ok- the pasta was undercooked but the shrimp and pesto was tasty. If you're looking for really good pizza & pasta- we highly recommend. We went at/around 7pm and didn't need reservations. Staff was outstanding- very friendly and very attentive

But now we really love it here, primarily because of the great service, as well as the pastas and meaty dishes. Dining & Atmoshphere: ~ White table cloth dining. Very elegant, not dim and romantic, but comfortable. "Table for two" tables might be fairly close together, but when you stay at this resort, you'll usually recognize who you're sitting next to because you probably met at the pool lol. And we've met a lot of cool people here too. They also set up tables for large groups if needed. Reservations are recommended for dinner. Plus, dressing up appropriately is required! Bellà Antipasti, Secondi, & Primis: ~ They start you off with a freshly baked olive bread loaf, meant for dipping in olive oil / balsamic. Love it when bread comes out hot! We also tried the Beef Carpacci, which were soft beef slices with a peppery saltiness! Good stuff! The Truffle Arancini were crunchy parmesan rice balls that were tasty. As for the Mussels in White Wine, mmm mmm loved the garlic sauce it was in! And we always ordered the Duo Cream Soup, which is simply refreshing! ~ For Secondi, we had tried the Chicken Parmigiana, which was OK. Nothing special imo. Same with the Pork Chop, which was a bit well-done for my pallet. The more flavorful stuff was the Lamb Shank and the Ossobuco with Milanese Risotto; OMG, these two dishes were amazing! Our two favorites of all! What I didn't get to try was the Katafi Shrimp. This popular dish must have gone past our table at least seven times. Gotta order it next time. ~ As for Primi dishes, we've enjoyed the Truffle Risotto! The Lasagna Bolognese was meaty goodness heavily covered in melted mozzarella. The Truffle Fettuccine is always a winning choice. Add some chicken to it. The Pesto Gnocchi is chewy and enjoyable! Pass on the Shrimp Ravioli as well as the Beef Cannelloni. They were good, just not as satisfying as the other Primi dishes. Tl;DR Bellà Restaurant has a variety of Italian dishes from pastas, to seafood, risottos plates, to tender meaty dishes, and they can make my gluten-free friends happy with that option. Dining here is clean and pleasant. Service by the staff and our wine som has been nothing short of excellent! Compliments to the chef! There's just so many good choices on the menu. So you can't go wrong eating here. Some dishes are a good-sized portion, but some are small enough to try if you wanna order another. Overall, we love it here!
