There are several tables scattered around a large room with high ceilings and a bit of outdoor seating right at an intersection making for plenty of people watching. We came for the beer and sat at the bar. Chalkboards list the available beers as does their website. There are plenty to choose from and you can get a growler to go. Besides beer they have a few wines, scotch, bourbon and full bar as well as snacks, hot dogs and sandwiches. We ordered a bread and cheese snack which was a soft, brie like cheese and warm baguette. This was a very tasty snack. My SO got a spicy hotdog which he very much enjoyed. All the staff were friendly and the area clean. There are two restrooms down a hall near the bar, each is a 'single person', one men's one woman's. Located in the city, parking is on street, paid lot or garage. I recommend public transportation, bike or walk. This very laid back, easy going, beer focused business should definitely be on your list if you enjoy craft brews.

But the interior of the space is pretty noisy, and not entirely pleasant to try to listen to your tablemates. Stick with the outdoor seating, if at all possible.

Their continental breakfast was so good we didn't bother ordering anything off the regular menu. Each breakfast came with a pastry of choice, and I got the (very large but delicious) croissant. There was also a yogurt parfait with berries and granola that was a perfect compliment to the carbs of my croissant. I didn't really get my coffee refilled so I'm not sure if that's all you get, but it was still a lovely coffee and I enjoyed dining here. They also have a really lovely outdoor patio that we finally got a moment to visit. I would have come for the patio alone, it was so lovely and everything I needed on a warm summer afternoon. Sometimes it took awhile for our server to come out and check on us, but we had the time so it didn't really matter. He was super nice and knowledgeable about the menu.

A delightful breakfast on a weekday morning!…read more We were lucky enough that Renoir opened as early as 7 AM and so seeing the glowing reviews, we had to stop by. The first thing I noticed right off the bat was the beautiful layout of the restaurant. They had plenty of seating, and I love that there was a variety from booth to traditional tables to couches! This restaurant was truly elegant. For someone who always gets overwhelmed with choices, I really appreciated that their breakfast menu was straight to the point, and while there were still many offerings, it was succinct. Our table started off with some juices and coffee - I decided on the grapefruit juice, but I really wish I had tried the orange juice because it was definitely freshly squeeze and I was told that it was so sweet and delicious! The grapefruit juice was good too, but I forgotten how bitter grapefruit can be :,) for my entrée I got the eggs Benedict with a side of potatoes, and this was cooked to perfection. The eggs Benedict still had that runny yolk with a savory hollandaise sauce while the potatoes were one of best breakfast potatoes I've ever had. The flavor was Herby and potato was firm enough to still have that crispy exterior but soft enough that I could break the potato in half with my fork. Another thing I have to brave about this restaurant was the service. Our waiter was so kind and funny and he was always coming back to attend to us and make sure that we had everything we needed. Really love this place and hopefully I can come back again for breakfast in Montreal!
