A Grimbergin blonde and a Kronenbourg ale. I love how both beers were served in their respective brand's glasses. Such a nice touch. Bulk of the other clientele consists of local repeat customers, as we saw a lot of them greeting the bar tender affectionately. For lunch, we had the duck confit and the Lyon sausages (one of the day's specials). The waiter recommended a strong red wine to go with the duck and a lighter, younger chilled red to go with the sausages. He hit it spot on in terms of the pairing. Both main courses were simple and delicious. We ended our meal with wonderful house-made chocolate mousse. Having stumbled onto this little place on the last day of our week long trip in Paris, we were pleasantly surprised with our wonderful experience at Le Colibri. Simple and authentic, this is definitely our favourite place to eat in Paris.
