I've had a great experience at One Candle Story store in Glendale, CA, where all my ideas were properly addressed and I was able to find the perfect gifts for my friends. The owner of the store helped me chose matching personalized candles and other items and created nice arrangements with cute packaging within minutes. This is a family-owned small business and the store was clean and calm. What I love is that their candles are being prepared from natural ingredients and they also ship within the U.S. Everything made for the customers' comfort. Will definitely shop here again.

Today the door was open and I stepped in, and I am so glad I did. What a sweet find this place is! Sometimes shops like these can be overwhelming to me; however, there is nothing pretentious about One Candle Story. They make all their candles right there, you can see some of 'behind the scenes' right there in the front room, the candles and gems are really well priced, and most of all, Susan and her husband (the owners, I presume) were so pleasant and delightful, and very helpful. I visited their shop when I was failing the plants that I had gotten from them during my company's earth day event. The succulent had gotten mealy bugs, so Tansy kept the plant to treat it. The other one had gotten fungus gnats, so they re-potted it. They not only sell plants, but help nurse any plants you have back to health. They don't just have plants and supplies in their shop, they have lots of other non-plant items that are great as gifts. I also purchased a journal from them. They have a cute coffee cart and outdoor seating area in the front, and have different events they produce. Really building a community around their shop.

This occult store has a very punk-witchy aesthetic with a hand-painted icon of Hekate, a statue of Baphomet and pentagrams formed with twigs and ribbon. It has all the staples of an esoteric store, so you can easily find candles, incense and crystals, along with jewelry, pins, stickers and patches. The clerk on duty was kind and willing to assist. In my case, I was just looking for some basics, but Pan's Apothika offers other services of the occult persuasion. And prices are actually extremely reasonable So give this place some love.

Have been to this store twice before. As we were looking for what we needed, we were trying to get someones attention and see if anyone was working on the floor. Finally found an employee that was able to help us and show us different merchandise in their HUGE showroom. They have kitchen appliances, bedroom, bathroom, living room tables, beds, sofas, TV, artificial plants/flowers and overall a nice decor. So many things to choose from. So we bought both the dresser and the small shelf for a very affordable, reasonable price. Lines are super long and that's another reason that it took them forever to open another register. Prices vary depending on what you get. Also has a self check out. Store was very clean. Big parking lot, restrooms and that's all I have to say about IKEA.
