I really can't say enough good things about Village Baking Co. It is easily one of my favorite…read morespots now. Everything I tried was absolutely top-tier. I started with the croque monsieur, and it was exactly what I was craving. The cheese was perfectly melted and bubbly, and that hint of dill on top really pulled it all together. I also grabbed a slice of the lorraine quiche, which was incredibly savory with a crust that was so buttery and flaky it practically melted in my mouth. For dessert, the chocolate kouign-amann was a total standout, super crispy on the outside with those rich, sweet layers inside. I paired it with an iced chai latte, which was perfectly spiced and not overly sweet. They have a small outdoor seating section that is perfect for catching some fresh air while you eat. The whole experience felt so authentic and high-quality. I am already looking forward to my next visit!

This is my favorite bakery! Every time I have stopped by, I have had an excellent experience. Staff…read moreis friendly, the bakery is clean, and it has a cozy atmosphere. They have a few tables and chairs inside and outside for sitting. The tarts are amazing and definitely recommend you take one to go. The croissants are delicious, buttery, and flaky. The coffee is a nice addition but, the main attraction is the bakery! The bakery is in the Bishop Arts area so, you can find some free parking depending on when you visit. On the weekends, the line will move fast so, don't be afraid to wait.

Upscale French themed vibe with gorgeous art and delicious baked goods. Staff was friendly and…read moreattentive. Missing French pastries after my trip to France Came here and tried Mango matcha iced drink was okay. Hard to eat mango slices with ice in the way Banana bread was amazing - caramelized on the top with banana and inside. Moist and full of flavor in every bite (would get again) Coconut passion fruit cake slice - delicious and full of passionfruit flavor which is hard to find (would get again) Apple monkey bread - great with syrup but not as apple-heavy flavor as I'd like it. Sold me on the appearance tho

I called ahead around 12:30 to ask what or if they had any lunch specials today and the woman who…read moreanswered the phone told me yes, it was the triple sampler with soup, salad, and sandwich. I headed over and this was the first time since the expansion I had seen the updates. It was amazing to see in person. I ordered the lunch special and had the option to pick between caesar salad or mixed greens and I chose mixed greens. The soup of the day was tomato bisque. The sandwich options were tuna or chicken pesto and I went with tuna. While I waited for me to go I also got a sweet treat. I got the oatmeal cookie. Everything was so yummy and perfect amount of food. The salad came with a dressing on the side which I think was olive oil and lemon?
