Went into San Martin specifically the bakery area to let my friend experience one of the best bakeries in Dallas ! After several minutes and trips around all the shelves!! We picked up so many goodies! Ham and cheese croissant and they featured a new bacon and cheese croissant! Of course it was a belated birthday celebration so I had to buy him a slice of the fabulous strawberry cake it's always a great vibe in the bakery

    Very nice place

My niece that live in Austin, her husband and their new baby came out to visit me for a weekend we went out to breakfast and I brought them here they loved every they made had. My niece ordered the Chilaquiles. My nephew had pancakes and I ordered my go to eggs. I love eggs. After we finished eating, my niece did some shopping in the little store that they have in the front of the restaurant. They have some very cute things there and beautiful pastries to take home. It's a nice place to bring out-of-town guest.

San Martín Bakery is fully embracing the FIFA atmosphere! The energy, the excitement, and the overall experience are simply amazing. Great food, great ambiance, and the perfect place to enjoy the World Cup spirit. Highly recommended!

The Migas plate was good, especially the egg scramble with the tortilla strips on top. I don't think I've ever had a scramble with those on top and I also appreciated the egg to mix-ins ratio. Sometimes there's not enough, but it seemed like a solid half-half here. The potato pancakes were exactly what you'd think they are. I did think they'd be more flavorful, but still good and definitely filling. The fruit tasted very fresh and was crisp, which is how I always prefer melon. The little bread basket they bring out was a delight. A nice variety of not-too-sweet bread treats. The dining space was also cutely decorated and felt very open even with plenty of people filling the space.

I thought the food was pretty good but nothing too special. The bakery is really cute though and we got some pastries from it including bread and some sweets which I enjoyed. The bread basket that came with the table wasn't warm. The workers were nice but they didn't offer us water or check on us for a while but they were also busy at the time.

I move back to Dallas a year and a half ago and since my move San Martin has become my favorite restaurant to visit. I go at least every couple of months for the amazing ambiance, service, and especially the food. It's the type of place you can have a date night or brunch date as well as a big group meal during a friend reunion. My favorite standouts on the menu include the chicken chilaquiles with green salsa (regular is better than the chipotle in my opinion. Also, these are the best I've had in Dallas), huevos rancheros, and the tostadas appetizers. Every meal comes with a homemade assortment of unique and tasty savory breads which is my favorite part. The restaurant specializes in brunch and breakfast foods but also has dinner. The view from inside is beautiful. P.S. they don't really take reservations but they have a bakery inside the restaurant where you can grab a treat while you wait. P.P.S. Try their juices and smoothies. You won't regret it.

    Latte and Napoleon

Walked about a mile over here today during Dalaska (aka the Dallas snowstorm ), and it was the perfect way to warm up after a cold walk. Grabbed a latte and a Napoleon and snagged a seat by the window to have that snowy view. Definitely a great stop if you're craving coffee and pastries. Thanks for being open on this snowy, stormy day, San Martín!

I want to love this place. It's such cute interior & the menu looks delicious but everything I ordered was meh. The coffee I ordered was wrong. I didn't switch it out and it was still good but I think the other one would've been better. The food I ordered was technically right, but the eggs were so overcooked. The food was also cold. The service was terribly slow. Tables around us came & went & we were just there sitting waiting for drinks, food, service. If I went again I'd probably get something from the bakery in the front not actually sit down.

Basic. I'm so sorry, that's the easiest way I can explain it. The hibiscus lemonade was just okay, not sweet at all (despite being told it is) Got the penne alla vodka. That was pretty good. It came with the most stale, dry bread I have ever had. Service was okay. Probs won't be back tbh but it fed me

First off, we wanted to have brunch at the restaurant. It was 2 o'clock and they stopped breakfast at noon. So we ordered lunch and just a warning potato chips are an extra two dollars the plantains and potato salad that come with some of the dishes are not an extra charge. I recommend the plantains because they're freshly made and delicious. The potato chips are made in house and so those are extra fresh and hot and crispy. When you order a drink, they serve it to you large and then when you order your lunch special that comes with a drink the drink is a medium, and so you still have to pay for the large drink. The free refills on coffee only applies to the morning. The sandwich and soup specials do not include the seasonal soup. I read somewhere that there was a complementary bread basket, and we asked and got a choice of sweet or savory bread and everyone was being picky because we ordered the large appetizer so we got a vanilla croissant and a fruit tart which I highly recommend the fruit tart and it wasn't on the bill so I believe it was complimentary. Happy hour starts after 3 o'clock and then they also have a cake and coffee special after 3 pm. I really love the avocado and Pepita salad. It came with chicken even as as part of the special and it was very delicious and I really loved the fruit tart and hibiscus tea. Jamaica. The ambience is beautiful however there was some annoying flies and gnats once the food came around. The bakery is a must stop by and I really really wanted to try the rolled croissant, but there was a miscommunication and I didn't get it. Superduper love the bakery got one of each mug that they had for sale. They were only $6.99 a steal.

After a difficult day attending a family member's burial, we went to San Martin Bakery for coffee and sweet bread. It ended up being the perfect place for our family to gather. The bakery is spacious, very clean, and the atmosphere felt welcoming. The staff was kind and accommodating, and we really appreciated being able to get a large table for our group of 15 without any issues. The breads were absolutely delicious -- the chocolate croissants were my personal favorite! Everything tasted fresh and comforting. The only small disappointment was that my coffee was a little cold, but honestly, everything else more than made up for it. We're grateful for the experience and will definitely visit again next time we're in Dallas.

Stopped by for dinner and happy hour!! Casual cafe with a bakery inside. The space is bright with tall windows and so much natural light. High ceilings and so much greenery Ordered one of the pasta dishes for my meal, and it was SO good. filling, lots of protein, and the sauce was amazing. Always love the happy hour drinks too- margs on the rocks are my go to Service was friendly and helpful! ALso love the easy parking nearby right outside in a lot. Overall, really love this place and will be back soon!

I visited San Martin on a Tuesday morning. This was such a treat. I first dined at the restaurant for brunch. I ordered the Pan de Muerto French toast for brunch and I had a Tiramisu Frappe. I really enjoyed the Frappiato, very tasty. This restaurant does get pretty busy on the weekends. They have free valet if you are eating here so that is convenient with the location and how hard it is to find a spot around San Martin. After we dined at the restaurant, we went to the bakery and picked out the most delicious treats. I really recommend coming to check San Martin out. The fresh pastries and bread is so worth the trip out to here. I am craving a croissant again from here already.

    Is contactless payment an option?

    No, I don't think so.

Do you serve mimosas at Brunch?

    Yes!

    Do you serve alcohol?

    Yes they do.

Can we get stuff at the bakery and eat there or is the seating area just for the restaurant?

There is one small round table by the bakery/coffee section. You are allowed to sit there and just drink coffee/get bakery things. But im certain that you can also sit at the restaurant side as well.

Reservations or is it okay to walk in?

They take reservations and walk-ins! To make a reservation, just give their phone number a call. If you are planning a Saturday or Sunday brunch, I would recommend a reservation, if you are just stopping by mid-afternoon or evening, I think you'll…

Do you guys sell pan de muerto?

Hello Lourdes! Yes, we do have pan de muerto that will be available throughout November. Hope to see you soon :D

How many people can be in your party for reservations?

What are the vegan options? It is advertised there are vegan options, but on checking the menu, I do not see any dishes that are vegan.

Very few. They have some trust drinks and smoothies. They claim some soups are vegan (not fully confident in the response I got) and salads. They have Avocado toast for breakfast. That's about it.…

Is the breakfast menu available all day?

If it's not, it should be. The farmers breakfast could feed 2 people.

The only menu I see online is in Spanish. Does anyone have a link to a menu in English?

They don't have an "American" webpage so the menu there is the one that they serve outside the US and that's why it's in Spanish (however it's very similar) the menus that they have at the restaurant in Dallas are in English with detailed…

How is the parking situation at this restaurant? Is it kid friendly? Do they take reservations?…

They have their own parking lot, you shouldn't have a problem to park there.

Our event coordinator had already been in contact with each hotel's sales team regarding room blocks, but my fiancé and I wanted to personally see the properties before recommending them to 30-40 hotel room blocks. Although we arrived after sales office hours, Liz at the front desk was exceptionally kind. She walked us through the restaurants commonly used for private events, explained the renovation timeline, and invited us to take our time exploring before returning to the front desk to view a standard guest room. Unfortunately, our experience changed when another employee, who later identified himself as Clayton, a manager, stepped in. It appeared he had been listening to our conversation but had not introduced himself. He abruptly informed us that we would not be able to view a room. We explained that our event coordinator was already working with the sales manager regarding room blocks and pricing, and that we were simply trying to ensure we felt confident recommending the hotel to our family and friends. Despite understanding the situation, he remained unwilling to accommodate the request. His only suggestion was that we purchase a room if we wanted to see one. For us, this interaction spoke volumes. Hospitality isn't just about beautiful rooms--it's about making potential guests feel welcomed and valued. If this was the experience we received as prospective clients considering multiple wedding events and dozens of room nights, it gave us pause about what our guests might experience. As a result, we will likely to move our room block, welcome dinner, Saturday event, and Sunday brunch where we're met with warmth, flexibility, and genuine hospitality from the moment we arrive. The Joule is undeniably a beautiful property, but customer service plays a major role in our decision-making. Unfortunately, this experience left us feeling that our business was neither appreciated nor wanted.

I thought from the menu and social media that this was an upscale dining venue, unfortunately, there are things that make it not so. First, where is the entrance? It was not easy to find. Thankfully, there were plenty of unhoused men ready to lead the way. Second, when I'm dressed up, I typically wear heels. Unfortunately, this is an old building and there are only stairs to get you to the restaurant. Save the heels ladies, this restaurant isn't made for all that sass. There is an elevator, but it says for ADA only and it also takes 5 lifetimes to get to each floor. The majority of the customers were dressed in casual clothes such as jeans and t-shirts. I'm visiting Dallas and I guess I didn't understand what this end of town is like. The photo shoot version of the restaurant in social media didn't match the clientele tonight. I ordered a vodka based drink that had strawberries, prosecco, and lemon. It was not good. I asked for the mule instead and that was tasty. My husband and I ordered the calamari and the pork for appetizers. I had the chip salad and the lobster mac b cheese for my entrees. My husband had the veal. He liked his entree. We both thought the calamari was fresh, but the breading needed more seasoning and a crispier blend to also stick to the food. The pork chunks were tender and salty. My salad was fresh and gave a variety of veggies to feel like I was eating healthy. The lobster mac would have been better without the lobster, it had no flavor. I was offered dessert, but our server said there was absolutely no espresso or coffee beans. There was only premade espresso for espresso martinis. So, I didn't try the dessert.
